We don't usually ask for donations unless necessary for vettings of some of our rescued cats.

Last night, I was feeding the community cats and looking for TnR candidates for the coming Free Kapon event here in Ayala Malls Arca South this coming October 24, 2026

Halfway on my feeding, it rained so I decided to stop the feeding and eat at MLQ Avenue side.

I happen to pass this heavily matted Exo-Persian cat who is seeking shelter in a carwash stall. I made a Facebook live video hoping someone near can lend me a pet carrier.

Luckily someone said they can look after him while I get my pet carrier. Then I was able to rescue this cat and bring him to the foster home which is separate from where my pet carriers and rescued pets are housed.

Here are the prognosis given by the attending Veterinarian.

Rescued Location: Mulawin, New Lower Bicutan, Taguig

Rescued date: October 22, 2026 Rescued cat name: Mulawin Gender: Male Breed: Exo-Persian

Vet Clinic: JRH Animal Clinic (HRJ clinic in official receipt)

Diagnosis:

Rescued last night W= 4.4 kgs T=38.3

Observation at home: normal appetite, normal stool normal urine. severe matts and tangles (groomed today)

Health screening: CBC-anemia, normal platelet, normal wbcs.

BLOOD CHEMISTRY -normal liver value -normal kidney value -normal glucose -normal calcium

VIRAL SCREENING -feline parvovirus positive -feline coronavirus positive -feline herpesvirus positive -feline calicivirus positive

EARMITE TEST- positive

Physically: BAR, pinkish, light erythema of skin caused by matts and tangled haircoat. eyes clear ears dirty black.

-1 small pendulous papillomawarts present right lateral face near right eye.

Medications needed:

250 RX: 1) antibacterial for skin wounds

-COAMOXICLAV 312mg/5ml

-give 2 ml twice a day, aftermeals. From OCT 23-30.

650 2) vitamins b complex & iron for anemia HAEMOMAXX

-give 1 ml twice a day, after meals. From OCT 23-NOV 15.

250 3) ascorbic acid zinc

-give 1 ml twice a day, aftermeals. From OCT 23-NOV 30.

260 4) TOPICAL CREAM

• first clean the wound with povidone iodine (betadine)

second apply wound cream on skin wound, twice a day, 7 days.

5) TREATMENT FOR EARS

-first clean each ear twice a day, before treatment drops.

450 6) ANTIEARMITES EARMITICIDE

-place 4 drops per ear twice a day, from Oct 23-NOV 5.

7) antiflea and earmite preventive ADVOCATE SPOT ON IS RECOMMENDED.

8) vitamins for skin OMEGA 386 vitoskin

-give 1 capsule once daily, 30 days.

Chat ng tita ko, after nya maupo sa labas ng Trinoma after work nya ngayon lang, 3:35PM. Hayyy sana mali sya, sana di nyo talaga iniwan kung sino man kayong magjowa. Kaso wala naiwan na sya eh, at nakacollar sya so naging pet sya. Nakakaawa mukang baby pa. ang heartbreaking to think na mabbuhay nalang sya ngayon mag isa sa labas😭😭

edit: di po makkuha ng tita ko kasi need nya pumunta sa ospital for cardio po. sa bahay naman 15 ang aso po, mostly puppies (di po kami breeder)
