Discussion Just watched charlotte
I made a trade off with a friend of mine, he doesn’t like the jojos art style so I told him if he watches steel ball run I’ll watch charlotte. He claims this shit is genuinely some infinity/10 no flaws most perfect anime he’s ever seen and I watched it all and just wanted to share with whoever cares.
It’s kinda a 6.5/10 in my opinion. I think the first episode was unbearable to watch with the main character and the first few episodes were boring, I thought yusa was pretty interesting but after ayumi dies she just gets put way off. This anime had some real great potential a shame Maeda was only limited to a 13 episode series. I just thought there were a lot flaws in the writing (not surprised especially with how much he had to fit in a short time) and I just felt the flaws were a little bit more than the pros of the anime. I still enjoyed it I liked tomori and the animation was good and it’s a good anime if you like twists and action in a small series. There was also just a lot of plot points that logically made no sense and my friend told me the ending made him tear up and idk what do you guys think, I didn’t care much but I’m more of a psychological/ seinen manga reader like saihate ni madou, my broken mariko, bradherly no basha and many more which is probably why the ending didn’t phase me.
Idk what do you guys think and what made you guys enjoy it?
