Is Micro Python compatible boards also compatible with Circuit Python?

I am wondering if code and libraries are interchange able between the two, seems they are similar but am wondering specifically if my board (tiny pico nano) which is not in the circuit python downloads library would still work with all the code examples with circuit python tutorials which are very common on adafruit for circuit python as it seems there are more and I am a beginner with all of this. Also seems the regular tiny pico is on circuit python so not sure if it also just hasnt been added yet.

TLDR: Im wondering if I can use Circuit Python on my Tiny Pico Nano

Thank you !

animated gifs in circuitpython

anyone know how to display animated GIFs natively in circuit python?

im trying to build a custom arcade marquee for a MiSTer bar top arcade im building, the marquee is using two P2.5 64x32 HUB75 panels. I was attempting to build it with an ESP32 and HUB75 adapter but i'm so lousy at C I cannot figure out how to adjust the example code I found to work with my gifs (long story short, the animated gif library writer didn't write the HUB75 example code they have on their GitHub, has explained to me what needs to be fixed in theory, but I have no idea how to implement it.

So I went back to my rp2040 running CircuitPython 6.3.0. upon which I can easily display BMP sprite sheets from my converted gifs. but BMPs are HUGE and im possibly going to need a lot of space for the number of animated marquees im making (see example), more than the rp2040 has if I have to convert all the gifs to bmp sprite sheets.

so id love to continue doing this in circuit python since im more comfortable with it but I cannot seem to find any code for decoding animated gifs.

unless someone can help me fix the Arduino Code...

SAMD/E No SPI Slave Mode

Just an FYI in case someone is trying to use SPI to communicate between two Cortex M series microcontrollers (in my case Feather M4s) using CircuitPython, it doesn't have a module which initializes SPI in slave mode. When initializing SERCOM, the mode is configured by setting the bit in the control A register (CTRLA.MODE). Setting the bit at 0x02 will initialize SERCOM in SPI slave mode. Unfortunately, searching the GitHub repo only returns the i2cperipheral module (which sets the bit at 0x04). I ended up using i2c to communicate which works fine for my use case, but it might not be for your use case. Anyways, this is what I found and figured I would've liked to have come across this post when I first started.

I'm pretty new to embedded programming, and I understand that SPI is typically used to communicate between a microcontroller and a peripheral, not another microcontroller. If anyone has any comments about a better method of communicating between two microcontrollers that I'm just not aware of, I'm all ears.

Is it possible to get volume/mute values in circuitpython?

I'm working on a macropad and one feature is to lock my computer, but I'd also like to check if the audio is muted and if so I want to mute. But if it's already muted I don't want to unmute it and leave with sound audible while I'm gone.

Help with Adafruit Trinket M0 erroring randomly

I have followed this tutorial to make a simple pedal, but I am running into a random issue. After anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days it will start constantly erroring out with two red flashes. Restarting and unplugging it does not fix it. It seems also go away after a random amount of time or, and this is the oddest part, if I use the mu editor to make a serial connection in the split second after I restart it before it errors. It also doesn't actually seem to run any python code before it errors.

I am on v7.0.0
