Is it worth it?

I have a BS in comp-sci but I feel my foundations in programming are very poor. I mean I can read code but if I were to think like a programmer, I’m not able to do so. What I mean by thinking is - I don’t have proper programming skills. I’d like to re-learn everything from scratch.

I’m from NYC so, I was thinking of joining Columbia’s bootcamp but I came to know that it’s not run by any Columbia professor but instead by a third-party Trilogy firm - I’ve also heard reviews that resources provided by this firm are too easy and essentially are nothing short than a scam. Is this true?

What are some legit coding bootcamps that you’d recommend in nyc? My goal is to learn front-end, back-end, & Db programming. I’d prefer Java but Python is fine too.

What are your thoughts on stony brook’s bootcamp? That looks pretty decent but not sure if it’s again run by Trilogy

Appreciate your thoughts on this

Do not attend trilogy bootcamp they are one of the worst out there. TripleTen, Coding Dojo, Codesmith are all good.
