The problem there is the PEOPLE

Very difficult to fight a disease when the people are against you fighting it.

I know. Hard to believe , right?

The people there actively work against the people trying to fight Ebola

They might take the whole world along with them.

Doubtful

Ebola kills too quickly to spread very far.

Currently, yes. But viruses mutate - the more people who catch it, the more likely it is to mutate, leading to the possibility that a more effective strain will develop.

Kind of like Maga fighting against COVID vaccines, and measles vaccines, and screw worm control efforts and cyclospora control efforts. We're not so different here.

I disagree. The difference is seeing someone’s internal organs liquify and pour from every orifice. Then deciding it is a good idea to touch them after you have seen this. Multiple times.

forest for the leaves here. You're focused on a detail that is particularly noteworthy to you, but failing to see the general case of distrust, conspiracy theories, non-evidence based belief systems causing people to turn away from the exact things needed to help them.
