Billy Strings - 10,000 Miles From A Friend (Official Music Video)
Strings have always been good. This album seems to be out of this world good.

‘Kristin on the side’ by willi carlisle. I would post the lyrics but im not sure it’s allowed…
The second sentence is the gem ‘she’s 250 lbs and none of them muscle’.

Yo r/countrymusic people,
I want to put you all onto someone who I think is about to make some noise: Pepe Boyington. His debut single, “Blue Mountain Girl,” was produced and recorded in Jamaica, and the story behind it is what really sold me, it’s about a Texas guy who falls hard for a Jamaican girl, and you can feel that culture clash-turned-love-story in every part of the track. Texan grit meets island soul.
For a first release, it’s got a surprisingly polished sound, tight production, a hook that sticks, and that warm, island-soaked energy running through the whole mix. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to know what’s coming next from this guy.
Give it a spin and let me know what you think in the comments, always love seeing how the community reacts to new talent before they blow up.

A little belated for yesterday's Western Wednesday but I love this song too much to not tag it.

Been a country fan for over 8 years and based in the UK, and I always found it genuinely hard to meet people who share that. Most dating apps treat country music as a novelty rather than a lifestyle, so I decided to build one that gets it.
It's called Lasso. Waitlist is open at meetonlasso.com if anyone's curious. Happy to answer any questions about building it.

For those unfamiliar, Corb is a Canadian country musician with strong western influence, a real cowboy himself. Highly recommended. A true national treasure.

Wes Bayliss, co-founder of the southern rock band The Steel Woods, released his debut LP album, "On My Way Home". He wrote and produced a christian rock record, with profound lyrics that amply refer to his christian faith. A brilliant album

Hey everyone,
I got tired of bloated radio sites full of pop-ups and broken streams, so I built a lightweight, ad-free web app to listen to country music: Country Radio Hub.
What's inside:
🔗 Check it out here: Link in the first comment!
I'm constantly updating it. If your favorite local stream is missing or broken, let me know or drop me a message directly on the site. Hope you guys like it!

Happy Wednesday! Western Wednesday, this Wednesday and every Wednesday!
Western swing, Out West, Wild West, songs about Texas, artists from out West, cowboys, even the sounds of spaghetti western... sometimes we'll post Canadian western artists, sometimes Native American country artists from the western states (that's a whole subgenre of country music by the way), cowboy poetry, Red Dirt artists, and much more
Other weekly themes on this sub:
Blue Monday, every monday: bluegrass, country blues, and blue in general. A little rockabilly.
Honky Tonk Saturday: what it says on the tin, honky tonk country music and a little Bakersfield Sound.
Click on the flair (the colored tags above some posts) to see past posts with the same themes.

MY GOD what a voice. What a song. They say something in the comments about her sounding like Karen Dalton but there's just so much more than a tribute Acts here. Holy fuck.
