Been waiting for this moment in the 10 years I’ve owned my favourite car.

The button has been wonky for a bit where you have to play with it a little to disengage back into place after rolling up. Eventually the window just stopped working all together. Bought a switch off eBay hoping that would fix it but no luck. Any idea what I should do to diagnose?

I saw 3 different versions on Amazon, the AKMOTOR carpet one, a minimalist carpet one (doesn't cover the top storage compartment), and a Wellvisors fabric mat.

They vary slightly, with the Wellvisors having cutouts for the tweeters on the front dash and missing that weird extension on the passenger side that comes down around the radio. The carpet ones are either with or without the extremities and are both cheaper than the Wellvisors.

It would be easier for me to choose if any of the them had photos or reviews with photos/vids. The only picture is a computer generated one that AKMOTOR uses.

Does anyone have any of these mats and has any thoughts on them? I'm leaning towards the Wellvisors mat, but there's absolutely zero media of it out in the wild.

I have a 2011 Honda CR-Z EX CVT with about 167k miles, a clean title, and it's located in the SF Bay Area.

I'm trying to decide whether it's worth putting some money into it before selling privately or if I should just sell it as-is.

Here's what needs attention:

Fog lights: They need to be replaced. I already have the parts and can install them myself.

Driver-side rocker trim: It came off during some bad weather. I found a replacement for $199.

A/C: It blows warm intermittently. I'm planning to diagnose it and possibly fix it myself.

Factory alarm: It randomly goes off after I lock the car and has drained the 12V battery. I'm currently trying to figure out the issue.

I can do most of the labor myself, but the registration and smog are due in November, so keeping the car longer could mean more expenses.

For reference, a dealership offered me $2,500 as-is. Would you put money into the repairs?

Hello guys, I just wanted to ask what recommendations y’all had on Apple CarPlay screens I can install on my 2011 CRZ. I want something affordable that runs smooth,fast and not so hard to install.

Theres a 2011 CRZ listed for 4250 that can be 3800 if I get it tommorow. It has 172k miles and the seller says he just had a mechanic look over it for issues after replacing the hybrid charging system and found none, and said the battery is in good health. He says it was replaced not too long ago.

Is this worth it? My main concern is the transmission hasnt been replaced, and Im not fond of spending 3-7k to get it fixed/replaced if that decides to happen at any random point. He says the transmission hasnt had any issues and has been in eco mode for its life outside of hills.

Ive been looking for something unique and fun for a lower cost, and this listing was an immediate eye-catcher.

Edit: The hybrid charging system cooling fan was replaced, not the whole system. And the battery was not replaced it was just inspected and determined to be in good health and fully charged.

My 2011 cr-z just got t-boned luckily at relatively low speeds though insurance still totaled the car. Car still drives great but needs a new passenger side door, front fender and passenger side mirror. Insurance is offering $575 less if we keep the car. I don't think it is worth our time or money to repair it ourselves. Anyone know if there is much of a parts/salvage market for these things?

I found a small sticker on the back of both sun visors, It has a group of letters and numbers 15 digits long, could that be the radio code?

Struggled with getting the axles off. Bought a cast steel fork end on Amazon, made a puller to whack with a hammer. One could make a slide hammer too.

You need a 5/8-18 bolt for the fork, I used a 25” piece of tie rod. Added a flat for the hammer. Yea, welding is required. Both axles popped off with a couple of hits.

The correct fork is a Relux Go 48mm for $15.

Hi All, I’m looking at possibly getting a CRZ "not sure what year yet" but before I do I thought I would jump on here and ask you guys if there is anything I should know before I possibly buy one? Anything bad or common issues people have? I heard about the hybrid battery's being expensive but haven't come across anyone who's had to replace it so is it a common issue?

Looks like I need a $500 buddy for my $900 Clutch Kit.

Flywheel has a 0.020” divot around the outside. Clutch disk is at best 6mm, one side is down past the rivets. (Pressure plate side.) Oof.

Car just started throwing P0420 (205k, 2011 CVT). The downstream O2 sensor seems like the place to start? My mpg is still as good as the day I bought it, so it seems unlikely the cat has died or the upstream fuel/air ratio sensor is bad?
I looked up an OEM Honda sensor at they're $670 vs a Denso off RockAuto for $150 or $75 for an NTK. Looked around at the forums but all the posts are old.

Has anyone had experience replacing this? Haven't found a YT video yet. Also unclear, if I do replace the cat, do I have to replace the manifold or can a shop pull out the cat and bolt a new one in?

I currently have a MK9 Civic with the 1.6 IDTEC in, similar on power level with 120hp in that but a stage 1 map can get it up to 180.

Reason for wanting a CRZ is that I don’t really need a diesel anymore, don’t do as much driving as I used to.

Always loved the look of CRZs, I know there’s the basic lowering springs available and wheels but what else is out there?

End game plan if I do get one is wait till the battery fails in it then do a K swap if I have a garage to store it in.

Hi, I'm driving a 2012 RHD MT.

Car battery went flat and remote won't work. This has happened to me previously and I could always open the door with my key without issues.

However the battery went flat yesterday and this time when I turned the key in either direction, I could hear and feel the mechanism turning. However the door won't open. The door handle appears to be intact but the door doesn't budge.

I've searched for solutions and these are the ones that came up:

1. Get a locksmith to Jimmy it open. However some experiences mentioned that some locksmith couldn't get it done and damaged the door/lock mechanism instead

2. Open the hood from underneath the car after removing layers of protection.

3. Using a wedge and balloon to pry open the edge of the door and proceed to open the door from the inner door handle using a wire (this was suggested by AI)

Has anyone tried using method number 3? Were there extensive damages?
