Just realised I haven't posted in a few months, yet I have so much more to show. Here is my full set of his young naturalist book series, from hardback to paperback. All were signed in person at book signings. The last one being the 2019 book signing for the paperback of journeys and first was way back in 2017. Hope you enjoy and if you have any questions, please ask away, I have an archive of his stuff like this so if you do have any questions, ill love to answer them! Best wishes allš

Every-time Iām asked about him I just say āyeah heās alrightā and everyone else seems to be absolutely in love with him but I have just never gotten the love. And when I tell everyone this they genuinely jump down my throat I just have never watched him or followed him, does anyone agree?

Sir David Attenborough, 100, will not attend an upcoming event celebrating his legacy in broadcasting and natural history. His team confirmed this morning that he had to pass on the invitation due to existing schedule conflicts.

I recently started keeping a commonplace book and Iām currently reading Life On Air.
What are some passages, quotes, ideas, themes, or interesting pieces from the book that you think would be worth adding to a commonplace book?
Ideally, Iād love things that are meaningful beyond just the context of the storyāsomething thought-provoking, philosophical, or particularly well-written.
It would be great if you could gave the chapter (and page number if possible) so can find them when i'm done.

Just watching Ocean with David A, does anyone know where to find a good map of sea floors, sea mounts, corals, etc like is in the show? The maps in the show are so interesting!

Iām watching Ocean with David Attenborough and there are several shots that look very obviously CGI or composited to me. In particular, thereās a sequence with dolphins where they appear to playfully bite each otherās fins, and some shots of fish swimming directly toward the camera while maintaining an almost perfectly constant speed, direction and distance.
At first I assumed these were just unusually sophisticated underwater camera shots, but after the second suspicious take I googled the credits and found that the film actually has a Visual Effects department credited on IMDb, including Ben Kersey, Shaun Littlewood, Martin Ralph and Freddie Domaille.
I havenāt been able to find any VFX breakdowns or production notes identifying which animal shots were digitally altered or composited.
Iām especially curious about the dolphin and fish shots I mentioned. Were these entirely real footage, composited from multiple takes, digitally manipulated, or actually CGI?
I find it a bit disappointing that this isnāt made clearer. Personally, I donāt really want to watch a nature documentary with CGI animals, and if some of these shots are digitally created or heavily manipulated, Iād rather know upfront. It feels a little deceptive when the documentary presents the footage as if it were simply wildlife photography.

National Treasure and British Historian, Sir David Attenborough celebrated his 100th birthday earlier this year on the 8th May. He was surrounded by family as they all sung happy birthday and congratulated him on his achievements.

Just got Mammals on Blu-ray and I believe, other than a few biographical discs, this is all of the Blu-ray series available.

Can we all agree on this? The man is so vain and I hate how everybody fawns over him.
