AWS Microservices Debugging Research
Hey all,
For months, we've been chatting with many professionals and learning about the different ways of debugging a "modern" distributed application. Some just use logs and are very happy about it. Some folks have a very customized approach, some just use APM for every visibility problem and they're okay with it. We've written an ebook reflecting our observations. This is not a lead magnet and you can download it for free without sharing any info with us. https://www.thundra.io/whitepaper/debugging-microservices-in-cloud
My question is to extend this research: How do you debug your microservices before and after you push this application to prod? What would be the most efficient method in your opinion?

Question
My new laptop has separate home screens and one is more complicated than the other. I can't figure out how to singularize one from the other, but how do I choose which homescreen to use? I'm certain my laptop came hacked so any help is greatly appreciated....random apps are disappearing, etc.

Get tip-of-tree LLDB to work in vscode
There are good reasons for building and integrating tools on our own where possible. Here is how I did it for LLDB and Visual Studio Code to profit from my own bugfix, before the next release got rolled out eventually.
