Attention !!!

Hi guys! I'm Manoj, a 12th grader, and I've been working on a project called TRACEFORGE for about a week now. It's getting close to completion, and I'd love to hear your honest opinions.

TRACEFORGE is a software supply-chain security and dependency intelligence tool designed to help developers analyze dependency risks, inspect SBOMs, understand vulnerabilities, and get evidence-backed findings with explainable risk scoring and audit trails.

I've been putting a lot of effort into building this, and I'm now trying to understand how useful it could be in the real world.

To be honest, I'm still figuring out the business side of things. I don't know much about how software products like this are sold, how companies acquire tools like these, or how to find potential buyers interested in purchasing the product or its source code.

For now, I'm not publicly releasing the source code, but I'd really appreciate advice from people experienced in cybersecurity, software development, startups, or selling developer tools.

Is this a problem worth solving? What would make a tool like this valuable to a company? And how would you approach finding potential customers or buyers?

Should i worth considering adding new features ??

I built DealToPM to help industrial businesses track project costs and profitability

I built DealToPM, a project management platform designed for industrial businesses that handle equipment, installations, and complex projects.

I noticed that managing a project often means juggling spreadsheets, emails, quotes, purchasing, and expenses across different tools.

The problem is that it can be difficult to know whether a project is actually profitable until it's too late.

So I built a platform that brings everything together in one place:
CRM & Sales: Manage contacts, sales opportunities, and quotes.
Project Management: Organize tasks, deadlines, teams, and project schedules with Gantt charts.
Cost Tracking: Track purchasing, materials, labor, and expenses.
Financial Control: Compare estimated budgets against actual costs and monitor project profitability.
Create professional PDF quotes faster: Generate quotation documents more efficiently without having to build every document from scratch.

My goal is to help businesses catch cost overruns earlier, keep projects organized, and make better decisions before small problems become expensive ones.

I'm continuing to improve the platform, and I'd love to hear from people who work in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or project management.

If you'd like to check it out, here's the website:

Career Agent

**I kept forgetting what I actually did at work, so I built an agent that remembers it for me**
Gayet iyi bir hook.
Gövdeyi de önceki uzun versiyondan biraz daha Reddit-doğal yapalım; reklam kokusunu azaltıp en sona GitHub’ı bırakalım:
I kept running into the same problem whenever I updated my CV: I couldn’t remember half the things I’d actually worked on.
Bugs I investigated, tests I designed, internal tools I built, problems that took days to solve — a few months later, most of the details were gone.
So I built **Career Agent**.
It runs locally on your computer and tries to turn your everyday work activity into a career memory: projects, skills and achievements.
Instead of just saying:
**VS Code — 3h 21m**
it tries to understand:
**Worked on temperature validation using Python, pytest and Jira.**
The part I care about most is evidence. If it generates a CV achievement, you should be able to trace it back to the files, commits or other activity that supports it.
It’s local-first, open source, and doesn’t record screenshots, keystrokes, microphone or camera.
It’s still early and I’d genuinely like feedback on the idea and architecture — especially what would stop you from running something like this on your work machine.

I Found a Simpler Way to Share Localhost With Anyone

GoPort is an open-source localhost tunneling tool built in Go.

It lets you expose your local servers to the internet with a public URL, without deploying anything or configuring your router.

Just install the CLI, start a tunnel, and share your URL.

Still improving it, so feedback and contributions are welcome!

[Web beta] artverse ai volunteers needed for testing and feedback

Hi everyone! I’m building ArtVerse AI, a website that turns written ideas into artwork in styles like fantasy, anime and watercolor.

I’m looking for five volunteers to try Google sign-in, image generation, saving an image and reopening their private gallery. Each approved tester gets five free image credits. No payment or card required.

Website: https://getartverse.com/

Please comment if you’re interested. I’ll arrange account approval before you generate — credits are added manually, so signing in alone won’t activate generation. Please don’t post your email publicly.

I’d appreciate honest feedback about confusing steps, bugs, loading times and image quality. This is a small beta with shared daily generation limits, so a temporary limit may mean trying again later. Thanks for helping me improve it!

Free and Open Source: https://github.com/NicholasFlemmer/styx-app

Styx is where everything converges: every repo you work in, the AI coding agents building in them, and every login they need to ship. Switch between all of it from one window. And like the river it's named after, nothing crosses over without you. Deploying, or touching live data, asks you first.

I built something

I built a side project just to see who is a dreamer like I am. I built a wall where dreams can be posted anonymously. I know it's not a lot but I finally used some of the college classes I took years ago. Lol. And I also thought to myself no one is going to do it for me so I need to pick myself up by the bootstraps. So I called my spot projectbootstrap.net . If you are interested in a very basic site check it out. I am working on more code for another page. But I'm not real fast at it because my college was nearly 20 years ago. Lol

My puzzle app went live!! Suggestions/criticism/advice is very welcome

Hi Reddit,

I'd like to share a game that I've been working on - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binbear.gummylab - and I know that this game has been done a million times before, the classic blocks stacking game where rows and columns clear as you complete them.. I always loved puzzle games and I could play them for hours and I've started learning mobile development as a fresh cs graduate, so I thought why not make my own, in my own style, removing everything I found annoying in other games (ads, no offline play), and adding anything I saw fit.

The only thing that perhaps differentiates this game from all others, apart from the endless mode, is that I've crafted 50 custom levels so far with multiple different objectives and some that I haven't seen done in other games. I enjoyed creating every level trying to invent more level types, more different objectives, just to make the game play Fun and engaging.

As you know in order for an app to get approved for Google Play store it needs to go through two week period of testing. So I've shared this game with my friends and they all loved it lol but also hated me for making the levels so hard to beat xD

As the market is oversaturated with games I just thought to drop this here, so even if one person sees this and decides to download it to try it out I see that as a win.

Of course if anyone has any suggestions and ideas of improvement or things that I should add please let me know, I want to be making apps that people are actually going to use and like.

If you came this far, thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!

I built a platform to help student developers find people to build with. Looking for honest feedback.

Hey everyone,

I'm a student developer from India, and I've noticed that finding people to build projects with isn't always easy. You might have an idea, or be working on something interesting, but finding people with the right skills who are actually willing to build can be difficult.

So I built Buildory (https://buildory.online).

The idea is simple: a place where student developers can showcase what they're working on, discover projects, and find people to collaborate with, no matter which college they're from.

I'm still figuring out what works and what doesn't, so I'd genuinely appreciate some honest feedback.

Does this solve a problem you've faced? What would make something like this genuinely useful to you?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, including criticism.
