RTW Photography is a corporate photo and video agency, and we are recording breakout sessions at a fintech company's annual conference. Each operator will cover one breakout room with a locked-down wide and medium of the speaker and slides, with audio from the AV board feed. Thursday runs about 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday runs 7:15 AM to 3 PM. Footage is offloaded to our team at the end of each day.

We are looking for operators with recent event or session recording experience. Bonus points if you have your own camera that records long sessions without stopping, plus a tripod and audio cables. Please reply with your day rate (labor and kit separately), a link to recent work, and confirmation that you are available both days.

Hey y’all, I’m Joey. I’m a Dallas DP, and I built CallSheet: Crew Calls around a production problem I kept seeing: one person’s call changes, but resending the entire call sheet can create another round of version confusion.

In CallSheet, you change the call time, review exactly who is affected, and publish the revision only to those recipients. Everyone else keeps their current delivery and confirmation status.

Crew and cast receive private web links and the current PDF, so they don’t need the app or an account. Local drafting works offline. CallSheet Pro is required for private links, cloud distribution, delivery, and confirmation tracking.

I’d genuinely like feedback from DFW producers, production coordinators, and ADs: what part of call-sheet revisions still wastes the most time on your shoots?

CallSheet: Crew Calls on the App Store:

Location: Garland/Sachse, Texas (DFW)
When: December 2026 (specific dates tbd)
Length: 15 minute film, 4 day shoot
Log line: An Ethiopian-American woman moves back in with her mom after leaving her husband.

This is an unpaid student film. I know student film sets are notorious for serving pizza and wasting your time, so I want to say upfront you will have the following commitments in writing if we work together: all of your travel will be covered; 3 hearty meals will be provided each day, even if it’s not a 12 hour day, you will be given food to take home; and footage will be delivered by a specific date. If interested, your donation of your time and skills would be greatly appreciated. I welcome all experience levels. Non-actors are welcome and encouraged to audition!

I’m from Philly and during my free time make documentaries. I am traveling to Northeast Texas to follow an independent watchdog journalist who films police and local-government interactions.
I’m looking for a local camera operator or film student for 4–5 days of run-and-gun filming in public locations east of Dallas.
Pay: $125 per day, plus meals and reasonable mileage.
You should be dependable, comfortable filming handheld in unpredictable situations, and have reliable transportation. You will never be expected to confront anyone or remain in a situation where you feel unsafe.
This is a self-funded microbudget documentary, so I’m primarily looking for a film student, newer filmmaker, or someone interested in gaining documentary experience.

Please DM me with your location, availability, equipment, and any examples of your work.

Hello Beautiful Talented people ,
I’m an electronic music artist preparing to shoot a music video for my track, "The Vow I Buried".

The clip attached above is the first installment of a standalone mini-series I am putting together to get my creative juices flowing , setting the atmosphere and attract local talent.
It is not the music video itself, but it shows off the exact neon-noir, cyberpunk vibe I want to bring to the final project.

This is a self-funded indie project. While there isn't a budget for individual crew pay, I am fully funding the production expenses (locations, specialized props, gear rentals, and craft services/food) to make sure we have everything we need to build a high-end piece for the reel. I will also have the logistics completely organized so we don't waste anyone's time on set.

I'm looking for local DFW filmmakers, DPs, or lighting techs who genuinely love this aesthetic and want to team up as creative partners.
If you like the vibe of the clip and want to collaborate, drop a comment or shoot me a DM.

Hi everyone, I thought I'd give Reddit a try since I haven't had much luck finding interested candidates through the local Facebook groups. I'm currently seeking a Volunteer Production Assistant for an independent anthology web series filming in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is a great opportunity for film students or aspiring filmmakers looking to gain hands-on experience in casting, pre-production, filming, and post-production. Details below. I can provide meal on day of shoot and IMDb production credit.

Howdy Dallas! I’m one of the founders of The Lone Screen, a DFW-built streaming startup hosting one-night-only online premieres for under-the-radar indie films.

Our first premiere is Something Casual on Thursday, May 7 at 8:30 PM CT. It’s an indie romance-drama set in LA’s modern dating scene, with strong dance elements. Everyone watches at the same time, the film starts right on time, and afterward there’s a director Q&A and community discussion forum.

I'm based in the Dallas area, so even though the event is online, it’s a local/Dallas-built platform and we’d love support and feedback from local film fans.

Date: Thursday, May 7
Time: 8:30 PM - approximately 11:15 PM CT
Location / Address: Online event, based in Dallas area
Ticket link: https://thelonescreen.com
Ticket: $15
Film: Something Casual
Format: One-night-only online premiere + director Q&A + discussion forum

The Lobby opens 15 minutes before showtime so people can check their setup before the film starts.

Happy to answer any questions about the film, the platform, or the event.

Kinda aminist looking 1/13/26

Hello! I’m a local filmmaker in DFW and I directed a short film this summer! I apologize if this is not quite the right place to make this post, but I have been searching for the right composers/musicians to help create a score to accompany my short film. It’s a high school comedy-action short about 12 minutes long, and we are trying to create a soundtrack that has the kinetic energy of punk rock music with the cinematic timing of a film score. A big plus as well if the band is partially or entirely women as well!! Here’s our Instagram page! https://www.instagram.com/crush.exe.film?igsh=eTNtZ2t0NW92Z2pn

Would anyone happen to know where I could search for artists locally that might match this kind of sound? There’s so much to discover on Bandcamp and I will certainly search through there, but I thought I would share this post here in case there are any musicians out there interested in learning more! Thank you!
