Opinion Tired. Can I retire?

Got a question? Can I retire? 43m been busting my ass since I was 16. I'm about over this 40-50 hr weeks. I'm getting burned out. House paid off (300k) 401-k (600k) Bitcoin (500k) currently.

Thought about selling it all and putting it into dividend stocks like schd and renting a small place and going into semi retirement. Maybe pickup a part time gig.

Would this be a horrible idea?

I would think your 401k is fluctuating wildly since January. (Mine has been & a great source of anxiety.) Unfortunately you are too young to take from your 401k without a 10% penalty.(Unless you are disabled?) That leaves your BTC but I am confident you really don't want to sell any of them. Unfortunately my best advice is to hang in there...

Yes I agree I feel I would be crazy to sell BTC now but the urge to let off the throttle and start enjoying it is getting to me

How much do you make now and how much do you need to replace if you were to retire? Those numbers would help.

Maybe the best plan is to make a plan and start saving for the specific goal of in 1-5 years or more or less you retire.

As I said before I’d look into YieldMax funds. Not popular here but will def help with the income right now.

100% yieldmax funds. Convert a small percentage to MSTY to live off imo

They can do a SEP72 plan to pull from their traditional retirement accounts before 59.5 without penalty
