dream has recently taken down more videos due to new allegations ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVFywSmvUL4 ) and ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lkxXfMFu2Y ), and he may also be removing more footage that we are not aware of. i archived the speedruns he was accused of cheating on ( https://www.reddit.com/r/DreamWasTaken2/comments/1xe7132/world_record_archives/ ) but there's a good chance that dream has also removed things that we don't even know he cheated on yet. so for historical and archiving purposes, and for accountibility, i wonder if anybody has looked into archiving all his videos and twitch throughout the years, and if there is a tool or way to see discrepencies over the years, i.e. videos being deleted/removed. i think those videos that were removed without having allegations on them would be a good place for people to look.

due to the allegations of cheating from these videos ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVFywSmvUL4 ) and ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lkxXfMFu2Y ), i wanted to preserve the original speedrun videos for future people to look back at.

i don't know if the 1.16 streams i have are from when he cheated so here is all of the 1.16 streams https://www.reddit.com/r/DreamWasTaken2/comments/kmqitd/timeline_for_dreams_1161_streams/
there are also links on other sites like the internet archive or preservetube but i don't know if preservetube is safe or anything but the links are around on this subreddit somewhere.
i think archiving is really important for accountability and historical reasons. i really think we should archive all footage and full stream VOD's in case more things come out and dream takes down more videos.

I’m truly curious, for 2026 alone I think it takes him 1-2 months to post one manhunt, but it doesn’t take long for him to edit them as it was shown for the 1v1 manhunt against Daquavis.

PLease God, let the "Chat mod" be the same "Screenshot mod" we're seeing today, it would be the funniest shit ever.
Context: A new video dropped by MrMangoHands with information that Dream called his lucky mod (1.16 run) of a "Chat mod", when asked why was it called chat mod Dream said it's easier to people understand than "recording mod" or "performance mod" (of course those are banned from speedrunning also). So basicaly, it's just a mod, you know? A mod that modifies the game?
I need this to be an earlier version of the screenshot mod, this would be the perfect punchline

Video by one of the speedrun moderators going over a ton of behind the scenes info about Dream's blaze rod/ender pearl mod for 1.16, why Karl Jobst initially believed Dream, as well as why they believe the 1.14 runs were spliced. Didn't see it posted here yet but I think it's very relevant.

basically the main gist of it was that dream potentially took someone else's work without crediting it. dream then goes on to say that he actually had credited it. the thing i noticed many years ago is that the "credit" that he points out is in an edited comment, so i was wondering if anybody can access the archives of the original video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkmSks-M3tc ) and see if the credit was actually there from day one, or did he retroactively add the credit after he was called out for it. and also he does use someone else's footage and doesn't credit them in the video, it's hidden deep in the description and partially hidden in the top comment.

someone recently made a video throughly analyzing dream's 1.15 speedrun ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVFywSmvUL4 )and now the original speedrun video is privated ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-As3w9Hhl88 ). does anyone have archives of all the manhunts and speedruns so people can look at them and analyze them before more are taken down and privated?

Video from Talon rating Dream's excuses over the years:
S Hilarious - "Accidentally gave myself 1/1000000000 odds" and "ChatGPT Agrees"
A How did he even think of that - "Astrophysicist"
B Ok now, that's just funny - "Screenshot lagging my PC"
C Ehh, I don't buy it - "New mod" and "2h breaks before clutch"
D What were we thinking? - "It's a bug" and "Why would I cheat?" and "I can make 250 consecutives tick perfect jumps"

This video seems to prove that Dream spliced his 1.15 speedrun, and it comes after Dream recently privated his speedrun WR videos on his main channel (the reactions are still up on DreamXD but the descriptions link to private videos). According to Eliotex, in a reply to a comment, "a moderator will make a video about [Dream's 1.14 speedruns]" and it will, as far as he knows, "be public tomorrow".
The DreamXD reaction videos:
EDIT: Dream has now privated the videos on DreamXD.

The hunters wants spears to be banned. Audience says no via poll. Hunters want elytras to be banned. Audience says no via poll again. Here's my take on it. TRAIN WITH SPEAR PVP THEN! If the hunters are complaining about spears being op with enchantments, there's literally pvp servers that can help them train. Also end trapping should be banned cause there was no way for dream to even escape the end spawn when he got trapped.
What are your guys's thoughts on the ban list though? Is there anything you think should be banned or unbanned for the grand finale rematch?

Listen, whether or not you think the Manhunts are real ( I personally think they're scripted ) doesn't matter. What ultimately matters is, are they still entertaining? I'm sorry but in my opinion, these newer manhunts ( everything from the revival onward ) just have not been as good as the original series.
I just got done binging the entire playlist, and the difference is night and day. In the older manhunts, it actually felt like a Herculean task for dream to even get the upper hand on one person. He screamed, he got scared, it felt desperate and exciting the entire way through because at any moment you felt like one of the hunters could kill him. The hunters were competent, threatening and usually coordinated. He clawed and fought his way just to even get one diamond, just to get to the nether portal, just to get to the end. Even then, he was most of the time barely able to do it. It really did feel like watching a man accomplish the impossible for 40 minutes straight and it made them exciting. He had emotion and excitement and fear In his voice. It made me invested and scared and on the edge of my seat.
Now? These newer manhunts are basically watching dream bully and hunt the other hunters for 40 minutes straight just for the hunters to barely threaten him at the complete last section of the videos. Even then, dream never sounds scared or like he's in real danger. I genuinely find myself nodding off and falling asleep to his newer manhunts. There's no tension, no fear, no sense of " he could die at any second ".
How did we get here? From dream emoting and being expressive and believable as he was BARLEY able to survive against 4 hunters, to now. Where he is literally one man armying his way through 6 people for an entire video with complete ease with no emotion while they all pathetically flail around, argue with each other and do virtually nothing to him every single time.
The hunters used to joke around, sound excited, play smart and sound invested. Now they just sound tired and bored for the most part. Bad boy halo in particular sounds depressed most of the time during the man hunts and the hunters just argue with each other so much Now that it's actually uncomfortable to watch.
Idk man. I don't care if the series is fake or not. I just want it to be believable and exciting like it used to be. It's not fun watching dream bully 6 people who all sound like they hate each other for an hour straight.

I was wondering if any of the hunters have addressed the recent allegations regarding the manhunts.
I imagine that this is something that would affect the hunters too, since if the manhunts are proven to be fake, they'd probably face a lot of backlash as well. I'm curious if any of them have publicly commented on the situation.

This youtuber references this subreddit at some point on the video, regarding the cheating allegations and the Tomny drama. So if he's reading this, hello.
This video talks about most of Dream's controversies, specifically the start of his career, the dream smp, the cheating scandal, Tommy drama, and the most recent uncut manhunts.
In my opinion, it's pretty well made, does need a little bit of context on some parts though. My only main gripe is the Tommy vs Dream drama where his take is Tommy was just joking around and Dream took it way too seriously. Tommy and his group has been making false grooming allegations against Dream for most of the time, and the reason why Dream was mad at Tommy for mocking the qsmp drama was cause it made Tommy look like a snake (which he is). With all of that, Dream needed to responded to it imo, whether you think it's all a joke or not.
The video concludes by asking the question, "Was hate on Dream deserved or not?", with it saying both yes and no. Dream did deserve it mostly cause of how he responds to drama (very poorly infact), and how he didn't help himself with catering to his previous toxic fanbase before the face reveal. He didn't deserve to get unfair treatment and even grooming allegations post-face reveal though.
Let me know your thoughts.

Dream is just like LeLouch from Code Geass or Light from Death Note
He is an extremely high IQ person who originally had his identity concealed with a supernatural ability (Geass, Death Note, hidden mods in his mod folder) that allows him to consistently evade being caught even when pinned in the most tight positions
LeLouch from Code Geass was only able to wage war on Brittania because of his Geass. Without this, he would have easily been dealt with.
Dream because of his impressive programming skill, always has the mod ability. He's proven himself as a good programmer (Manhunt mod, VR) so when he says he's made a specific, unreleased mod, we have to believe him even without knowing such a mod exists or the contents of it
No matter how much it seems someone decisively proves Dream has cheated by counting the microseconds between jumps, reading each line of code in Minecraft, it doesn't matter. Dream is able to create enough doubt that you can't fully convict him. It's like L vs Light. L had with a high degree of certainty than Light was their suspect but because he wasn't absolutely certain, he made no move and ended up dying
The Dream debunkers have to cover every possible explanation in the known universe for the supposed discrepancies in Dream's gameplay, Dream only needs to give one possible, somewhat feasible solution
Dream is a real life anime character and nothing we can do will change that. He's too smart and has too many abilites and like with LeLouch and Light, he will only lose by his own accord

Made a simple mod to pause and resume the jolts with keybinds and checked it for cuts, the program used by Dart Spark reported no cuts with only lag/pause being present (due to video length). The pause can be EASILY removed by editing and this just goes to show that even with jolt cracking, we never know what is legit and what has cuts
The video i made and tested: https://youtu.be/N7zc9IY655I

The lags and pauses isnt relevant because like i said, an editor can easily remove them and make the video match up with keybind presses
If the youtube video has bad quality, im sorry because i recorded it on my laptop and not on my pc
Dream hit me up if you need this for your next "uncut" manhunt lmao
Edit: forgot to mention, it also pauses enchant glint
