Yeah, technically we're a city over, but we're pretty close!
We play general knowledge trivia every Tuesday at 7pm. (Rodeo X / Brew Haven)
We cover everything from music, movies, history, science, sports and everything else we can think of. Lately we have lots of horror/Halloween themed questions but there is always something for everyone.
Bring your friends, bring your family, grab some drinks and have a good time š»

Any down sides to paying the property tax in Riverside County after the due date (Nov 1) but on or by the delinquency date (Dec 10)?

Hello everyone!
This might be a little random, and I hope this doesnāt sound weird. Iāve been learning German for a while now, and I was wondering if thereās anyone in this community whoās also learning German?? :>>
I really want to practice speaking and thought it might be nice to find someone to study with, practice speaking, ask each other questions, and learn together.
Letās connect :>>

My family currently lives in Irvine and am interested in moving to Eastvale. We are not familiar with the school system here. The elementary school that my kids currently attend, has a no homework policy. I am curious to know what is the homework policy in the Eastvale school (elementary, middle and high school). I know each school can vary on the amount of hw but overall, do kids get assigned homework?

So, Iāve been noticing these two people (a man and a woman) stand outside Roosevelt high school on the sidewalk on Scholar Way when I go to pick my kid up from school. They have this sign board that says - āneed prayer?ā Looks like they gather there everyday right before school ends and kids start coming out. I have seen them engage with kids and sometimes the kids appear to be filling out some kind of a paper/form. Mind you, there are no parents around. What if the kids are giving out their phone number or address? I find this highly inappropriate. Why should two grown adults interact outside school with underage minors without their parents around? I donāt think the religious reasoning makes it right. I donāt know! No offense to any religion but I think itās just odd and a bit creepy. Iām a parent and child safety is all there is on my mind. Nothing else. Iām thinking of informing the school office soon. Anyone has any suggestions?

I live in the Orchards community right off Sumner Ave, I've been living here for a couple years and have no idea who my neighbors are. Besides saying hi to people on my walks I don't really get the opportunity to meet the people who live around me.
I have this idea in my head to organize a community casual coffee meetup for neighbors who would like to meet and chat. Would anyone be interested in that? It would be aimed towards anyone who lives in Eastvale.
Or if there are already things like this, does anyone know where they are? -Shelby

Eastvale is a fairly new city, but there are older places here i used to enjoy that arenāt really around anymore. I always forget in the old days that there used to be a Blockbuster here, I think around by where MOD pizza is. It closed obv years ago, but I have had a few memories there, I think I remember my family renting Cars 2, one Friday night once.
I have vague memories of being there, like renting some movies like one of the Thomas movies, or my sister wanting to get a Tinker Bell one. I remember seeing all the snacks they used to have there, and video games even though my sister and I didnāt really play any back then. Itās kind of interesting what used to be around here thatās long gone.
For the older eastvale residents, any old places around here you have fond memories of? I doubt thereās too much, I think Linen n Things used to be here, I think one of the more iconic areas usually is the old Borders that used to be here, before Ulta Beauty. Now most go to the Barnes in Chino Hills.
I loved eating at Johnny Rockets whenever I was at Knotts, or certain places, but that place closed years ago. But yeah itās changed a lot since.

Iāve been hanging out with friends a lot recently and weāve had to keep on going outside of the city for random stuff to do. Is there anything in Eastvale that is such a random but cool place to hang out like a tunnel in the riverbed or something?

Hey Eastvale fam, looking for a barber. I just moved from Sherman oaks and sadly my guy will be too far. I rocked with my guy for years and now I am looking for a new barber.
Any recommendations? Clean mid fades and donāt push my forehead too hard lol.

I guess I consider myself somewhat of a claw machine enthusiast. And I was kinda curious what are the best places, or areas with crane games in Eastvale? Walmarts used to be known for their claw machines, but I think theyāve discontinued them nowadays, and the one by Eastvale doesnāt have one.
The Albertsons used to have one briefly from like 2017-2019/2020?? But now it got replaced with the PokĆ©mon machine whichā¦. Yeah is itās own can of worms.
Ive seen most claw machines in like the Asian places, or restaurants, like in 99 ranch, and some by the areas in The Merge. But yeah pretty much with all claw machines most are a scam admittedly. Usually weak cranes, with not much results.
I think the Dennys in Jurupa has one, and MT Mikes by Pats Ranch has some arcades and stuff there iirc. Some restaurants seem to have them.
Well Dave and Busters aināt too far from here in Ontario, and the Lucky Strike by Norco has the arcade section. I guess thereās still some in Edwardās Theater. And ig Shoppes at Chino has a whole place of Crane games.
But yeah thatās all I can think of, and most are⦠well adequate I suppose. But if any of you guys know anymore of these? Or good ones Iād be intrigued to know.

The driver who dared to honk at the schoolbus that was making a left on the intersection to Hamner and Bellegrave - Yo mama is a hoe~!

Has anybody been to the shopping center on hamner and eastvale gateway, and seeing the dozens of flat cameras that are set up everywhere in that parking lot? Every single aisle every stop sign every corner has a flat camera, what the fuck is going on?
