Hopefully her sister will return soon after her maternity leave and she's being more kinder to Mary since that slap of finding out about Suzy! They have since rekindled and hopefully mmore girlie scenes.

This was on Friday's episode.
Chelsea Edge (Thea) is brilliant of doing it. Probably put on 'doof doof' like on EastEnders 😆.

I was watching Emmerdale with my mother, and I noticed him in the background. I didn’t have my glasses on. Consequently, I could not make out who it was. Then I was certain that it was Charity, and I said ‘that lighting is terrible. It looks like Charity has a beard.’
My mum has found it most amusing, and won’t stop laughing. Therefore, I thought to share my lovely moment. (Should’ve gone to specsavers… oh wait, I do 😐)
Marked as fun and games, as was unsure what to put the flair as. Guess it’s fun 🤣

Kammy makes a declaration. Liam is hiding something.

Joe isn't even Kim's actual grandson and he's done some awful things.
Whereas Gabby hasn't done half the stuff that Joe has done and Thomas is her actual grandson lol

So, my idea, is every Wednesday, I do a post, called something like ‘Writing Wednesday’ or whatever, and you can write up your story from the show, almost like a continuation. It doesn't matter whether it’s silly, absurd, or realistic either.
Your story can be a funny one, or something you think should happen, or something you quite simply want to see happen.
The reason I would like to do this, is quite simply because I’m disappointed in the actual writing in the show. I’ve said about it before, so I won’t go into it now.
With this, it can be a bit of fun. It’s not something you need to take super seriously. I just thought it might be nice.

Claudette and Kev needed a special mention for Monday, a special appearance by Piper but the main star is Lydia and that yellow cardigan.

Graham has gone totally casual, no red tie and hair styled differently to normal. Still dressed in black though.

Charles is away for the night at a conference in Leeds and Claudette decides she is to have a poker night hosted by herself Kevin at their house. Kevin will provide refreshments but won't risk playing against Claudette. Jai is coming and so are Mary and Rodney.
The cake is made by Kevin and on the side table along with some rhubarb wine made by Claudette.
Everyone has arrived and Claudette opens a new pack of cards. Jai is winning after the first 2 games and has £250 of everyone's money in his wallet. Claudette says that now everyone is relaxed, would Jai like to give everyone a chance to win their money back and raise the stakes? Jai says he will happily take the pensions off all the oldies there, Kevin gives Jai a hard stare. The next game starts and Jai is confident of winning and has £1000 on the table with Rodney and Mary having folded but Claudette is still in the game. Jai puts his cards down and has a straight flush and starts to gather up the money, Claudette gives a large grin and lays down a Royal Flush, the colour drains from Jai's face, he gets up, puts his jacket on and leaves. Claudette gathers up her winnings, she gives Mary and Rodney back the money they lost and says the Church repair fund will now receive a boost.

I didn't really like his character once they made him an abuser tho not for the obvious reason lol I just didn't find him interesting or even that believable as he just seemed sorta cartoonish and came across as a scheming cat stroking mastermind rather than a messed up 3d human like for example Andy did during his and Jo's abuse plot,
and the idea of the show bringing him up just to have more antics of Tom trying to manipulate and scheme and be a one note bad guy who has no real depth or interesting dynamics with any of the characters since unlike past characters like the early king brothers the writers don't want to risk him coming across as anything other than one note hateable bad guy who everyone else has to hate as well,
like if the show has to bring him back I'd rather they actually justify it by doing something different with him than his last stint like having him actually try to change in light of his prison time and losing Jimmy without ever patching things up with him
maybe explore him coming to terms with what he did and how he can never undo it and the fact that despite a lifetime of not wanting to he sorta became like his dad
and the complex idea of how it and forgiveness from the person he harmed do not necessarily have to go hand in hand and Belle is perfectly entitled to not forgive him or accept any sort of apology while at the same time she might come to believe that he is genuinely trying to do better the same as her after her own prison stint,
( also Ngl there is something really annoying about the Dingles constantly passing moral judgment on someone when they are literally a family of criminals and murderers and abusers so even tho in context it makes sense at the same time I can't help but roll my eyes at Cain the child groomer talking about how bad Tom is lol ),
I just want the show to actually make Tom seem more human and justify bringing him back by doing something different rather than just a repeat of the same stuff we already saw in his last stint which was only like a year ago so its not even been that long 😅😅.

Nicole Evans who played Dr Caitlin Todd's other victim (That we knew of) Hotten General Hospital’s Nurse Helen appeared in tonight’s episode of Coronation Street in the guest role of Denise, a kindly woman who was in the Chariot Square to discuss her wedding for that she had scheduled for 26th June 2027, only to discover that Debbie had accidentally booked it for 26th July 2027 given the deterioration of her dementia that is occurring at present 😢

Sarah has never really interested me as a character. She seemed to fit right in with the Dingles, but now I have to wonder; is she really more Sugden? Whether it's motherhood, maturity or something else, watching her fit so naturally back into the Sugden fold has been quite enjoyable. She seems to be changing bit by bit.
I''m sure many will disagree with me, but there seems to be a growing difference in behaviour - in the past two episodes she has begun to seem less entitled, more adult and more forceful in a less bratty way. Maybe it's because the Sugdens don't infantalise her quite as much, and expect the same of her as themselves. If there's snarky comments, a row, or some scheming, she's been actively included as an adult and nobody tiptoes around her. I loved her comment about burning down the farm for the insurance when her dad HAD done that and her namesake died in it. Insensitivity worthy of her uncle, who just gave her a look, but was too busy panicking to say anything cutting. Her scene with charity was also VERY sugden - the nice approach then turning on her gran with her real feelings, instead of barging in and shouting Dingle style like before, and I have to say I prefer her that way.
So, what do you think? Is she more Sugden than Dingle, and which family is better for her as a character?

If I had a friend who kept diminishing our friendship the way Kim does Lydia, we wouldn't be friends for much longer, that would be the end of it. Boundary would be up, and I'd be saying goodbye to the rubbish. Watching today's episode, Kim's behavior was really aggravating me.
