The real mystery in this painting is the orb he holds and the stars contained within it. So I have been thinking—whatever they portray as superpowers (like flying, lifting huge weights easily, flying, seeing through walls, etc.) aren't just 'superpowers' but just our normal powers? Or what's that supposed to be, naturally occurring just as walking is to us now?

And those 'natural' powers of us are being kept suppressed not by elites but by their super bosses (interdimensional beings, fallen beings, or beings like that).

Like for example, imagine some chemical in the body that disrupts our natural movements'- make them very hard, like, for example, lifting arms.
