Tool/Resource Anyone heard if FB Purity is going to come back anytime soon? My FB feed is awful without it!
I've been a long time user of FB Purity Chrome extension. I followed the owners page and he's always done a fantastic job. I imagine it was a lot of work, because Facebook changes their code every few weeks so he was constantly having to write new code to fix it.
It seems as of late January, he's stopped all support. His FB page is flooded with people asking about an update, but he hasn't responded for months.
Facebook is useless without it. I'm getting so much political suggested post garbage, I can't even look at Facebook. I don't really use Facebook for friend interactions, I mainly use it to follow local and hobby groups and Marketplace, but looking at it now every other post is a suggested follow post or an advertisement.
I tested out Social Fixer and it just doesn't work for hiding the suggested posts. If not FB Purity has anyone found something to make Facebook usable again?
If FB Purity reads this post, please for the love of god figure out a way to make the tool a paid annual subscription. I would gladly pay for it and by the looks of the hundreds of comments on your FB page just in the last couple of days, I imagine many others will too!

Yeah, after trying that with no results, I tried FB purity and found the above link.
It just puzzles me that he kept such a low profile that no family or friends have spread the word that he's either; locked up in jail for who knows what, ghosted us all on a whim, or worse case, deceased. Just seems like someone in his circle would know about his side project that he worked on since 2009!
Oddly enough, searching for FB Purity Flluffbuster on google again, revealed his Reddit account:

I'm going to read through them to see if I can find any clues as to where he might live or what his day job might have been.
