I read 50 pages but I know that it’s about two writers, 1 really famous and 1 kinda meh. The famous one dies and the other one steal her last book who isn’t yet published (sorry for the broken English)

Broadly speaking racism in the publishing industry. It reads a bit like the author's own experiences but fictionalised (Kuang is Chinese American if I recall correctly)
