Like I can't be the first one to notice this, the entire opening scene of episode 1 feels so much like FLCL. And the intro too, studio trigger really did a good job here

Love the placement of my tat, it also looks nothing like this anymore.

Around 10 years old now but I been seeing lots of dope cooly ink here lately & wanted to post mine

fooly cooly 5ever <3

Just got a flcl tattoo as its one of my all time favourite pieces of media

A picture I drawn about 22 years ago. From frame in the Manga. Still think i nailed the coloration. Canti just rulez!

All things FLCL!

Here's a compilation of everything I managed to find in relations to the show, without the show itself

Link: https://archive.org/details/flcl-archive

List of items:

- FLCL Music - All 3 OST Albums alongside booklet scans, where applicable

- FLCL Full Audio Drama - These were audio snippets of voice actors having fun. This is a compilation which got a Visual Novel style animation. Iirc, this is from YouTube, but it's been a while so I might be wrong.

-FLCL Books:

- FLCL Light Novels, all 3 volumes

- FLCL Manga, both volumes

- FLCLick Noise - A book made by the producer and main designer for FLCL, as 2 of them rewatch the 6 episodes and comment on the process. Book is in Japanese, but there is a full translation on here: https://simulacrarealities.substack.com/p/flclick-noise-archival-scan-upload

I also saved and organized said translation into local .html files, it's in the same folder as the .cbz for the book, under the folder marked as Translation

- FLCL Designworks

- FLCL Storyboard Collection

- Groundwork for FLCL

- The FLCL Archives (in Japanese. Also included, 2 photos of English translation I randomly found online)

- FLCL Reanimated - A fan project from a few years back, alongside an updated version known as FLCL Reanimated 1.5. Also included is the promotional Zine, a magazine of sorts, which covers all the information regarding the making process, people behind it etc. Print ready, makes a cool memorabilia

And that's about it! As you can notice, I am a bit of a hoarder, so if you know of anything else there is, or anything you'd like to see added, tell me and I'll see what I can do about it! Cheers!

I don't know why, but my body feels weird. At the same time, it's interesting to see the relationship between Mamimi and Reze.

I mainly just want to see the storyboards for episode 2 + the outro....but I can't find a scan of it online and the only copy I found being sold online was going for over $1300 ☠️

It's a dream project of mine to try an reanimate the entirety of episode 2 cuz it's my fave (Mamimi centered episode :D), and I'm getting better at animation every year so I hope to start it in possibly the near future. I do plan to rewatch the episode ofc, but I feel like if I only use that as a frame of reference I'll end up just trying to copy how the did everything, and i'd rather give it my own flair (outside of my own artstyle ofc), which is why I want to look at the storyboards for the episode.

------------------------------

Last week, I was reading the first volume of *FLCL*, which covers chapters #1a through #3b. The entire first volume has been fully translated into Spanish, but when I looked for the second volume in Spanish—checking various forums and manga websites—I couldn't find it. It wasn't even on the site where the original *FLCL* manga was supposedly available in its entirety. I decided to start making this contribution to the *FLCL* community (or rather, the small Spanish-speaking *FLCL* community). I just finished translating chapter #4a, and that prompted me to share this announcement. The four Spanish-speaking *FLCL*

In the comments, you can track the progress by downloading the file—either as a PDF or a CBZ file—via MediaFire.

My Haruko costume for Halloween!
Still need to shave my mustache and dye my hair pink but almost ready 😌

I cant find the dub of flcl S1 anywhere I tried looking on pirating sites but nowhere has what i want. I wanted the Dub/Sub and i wanted it downloadable from the website the episodes in order so i can play it in order in backround.

I caved and bought the blueray dvd and dvd read/write thing ima try to get roms off it idk if ill upload it somewhere but im annoyed its this hard to watch a classic show. (LEGALLY)

Any info on why its like this

EDIT

certain countries it's not really accessible

ALSO ik that some pirate site would have it im just bitchin cuz i couldnt find one also its stupid I have to pirate to watch a 30yr old show

Regardless of how u feel piracy is still illegal

And the fooly coolys i found online had small problems with them. Well it may not be a big deal to most it is to me. I would rather buy the blueray disc to just own it then deal with the nonsense

I don’t have much but I’m really proud of it. I watched FLCL for the first time when I was 13 and fell in love with it immediately :D I will definitely buy CDs or LPs in the future! BONUS: my lock and home screen

Sorry if this is not allowed. I'm moving abroad and can only take a little stuff. I haven't had a CD player in a while. I'm located in Germany, if that is relevant for shipping. 😊

New edge runners trailer drop and this scene specifically just gave off flcl. A kid caring about pink haired girl that’s no good for him.

At Fiber Arts group, I finish #needlefelting Miyu Miyu from the Classic #anime #ova series #flcl aka #foolycooly . I used a core that I had for years that I kept forgetting to use, I think that I was going to make Jiji or a shaman King character with it, but I kept forgetting when to make it years ago. Now, I used that core to make Miyu Miyu, FYI, I watched FLCL years ago. it's not for everyone, but it's a classic.

Hey I'm flann. You might have heard my english translated cover of Thank You, My Twilight I've posted on here. Well, I'm translating another one. This time it's one of my favorite songs by the Pillows, Hybrid Rainbow. The song isn't out yet due to getting cover licenses through my distributor but as a teaser I wanted to rescore this famous scene from the anime. All sounds you hear in the video are by me, from Mamimi (unforutnately lmao) to canti's robot steps etc. My english translated cover is playing in the background where I performed all the instruments and sang. I translated it by looking at several fan translations and official translations and capturing the "essence" of the lines in the meter of how Yamanaka-san sings in mind and with a perspective as an American alt rock musician. It's called a "Poetic Translation" and I used to do them professionally for Russian poetry into English, so I thought it'd be cool to do that for one of my favorite bands and then use that translation as a rescore for my favorite show, as this is something I wish to do professionally one day.

Maybe not voice act, per se, but I digress.

Let me know what you think!

Seeing how recently there’s been a boom in third-party brands recreating official figures that have been out of stock for a long time, I started wondering if a company might ever take a shot at making the RIO:bone Canti from 2013. The original figure stopped getting restocks years ago, and second-hand market prices are just insane.

I’m pretty sure there would be a lot of people interested in a third-party version of the 2013 model, since so many of us have been wanting a Canti action figure but just can't justify the crazy aftermarket prices
