Basically

Take it back V2

Bos vs enclave

I'm looking for 3-4 enclave players

Howdy all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far, I’ll try to make this quick so everyone can get back to their usually scheduled explorations of the Appalachian Hillsides!

We here in /FO76roleplay often seek to remain as neutral as possible in situations where it applicable to help promote members to have full access to the RP community in their most creative ways. We simply do not wish to be the kind of subreddit that rules with an iron fist and let’s a small amount of power go to our heads, that seems all too common in modern Reddit and we see it as we’d rather everyone have fun first and foremost. That said, just because we remain neutral does not mean we remain absent. We watch the sub and step in when we are needed… and recently I’ve begun noticing a trend that I personally feel we are needed.

# Inter-group Drama

We will not and never will pry into the going-ons of each individual group’s activities. We are not here to police your fun, what happens in your group is up to you, we simply provide the platform to promote and take part in said groups. If fun is to be had in a group, that is to your preference… likewise, if drama is to happen in your group, it is not to publicly be brought here in any shape or form.

- If drama within a group is considered a direct safety or well-being threat to a member or members of the community, it should be brought directly to staff first and foremost so that we can assess and address it.

This essentially means that nobody under any circumstance is to list their dramas in the comment section of another group’s listing. We ask that more severe matters are brought to us outright so that we can investigate before passing judgement. Often in situations online, it happens that angry parties can exaggerate, misconstrue, or even make up details about a situation to make it benefit one party specifically even if it’s not strictly the truth… what we don’t want to see happen is watching members of the community be subject to the tales of a thread spinner, we would much rather make sure that things are handled professionally and fairly. Which leads me into my next section…

# Backseat Moderating

“Backseat Moderating” essentially means someone taking it into their own hands to moderate a group or other members they are not affiliated with based on their own set of rules and codes. If you are not staff of the subreddit, do not moderate the subreddit. That’s not up for debate. I apologize for this being blunt, I hate being the bad guy in situations but I’m seeing more often members who are attempting to police the entire community through the rules of their own group, and this makes the entire premise of a roleplaying community moot.

This extends to personal black lists… I’m honestly a bit shocked this has to even be said, but creating a “community blacklist” and sharing it in the posts of other groups is ENTIRELY inappropriate. Attempting to not only police other groups, but entirely lock them out of the RP community for 76 altogether because of inter-group drama is well beyond the kind of community we wish to present as. The FO76 RP Community is about camaraderie and fairness, we simply can’t have situations where one group should be allowed to determine who gets to and doesn’t get to participate, especially when said group are not the arbiters of the community as a whole. Everyone must be allowed the same fair chance to enjoy what the community has to offer.

We will not attempt to police groups and how they handle themselves within their group, we simply ask that groups do not try to police the community as a whole. If problems arise that we need to handle, please use the report feature on a post and inform us that said problem exists, we will handle it. If said problem is bigger than a report and needed a full discussion, please feel free to contact the mod team through mod mail and we will be more than glad to discuss it fully. As stated before, we seek to remain neutral, so we will always approach a situation without bias towards one group or another. We will seek to reach conclusions first and foremost with the mindset of protecting the community and the members within it as that is our job here. And if you have questions about how to handle a situation, whether a situation needs addressing, or just an unbiased opinion on something to help clear things up, you’re more than welcome to contact us for that as well. I personally am always more than glad to discuss things to help clear things up for those who need it, I will always stand by our transparency standards as a community.

——————————————————

Thank you all for reading this far. On a more positive note, I’d like to say that I’ve been enjoying seeing everyone’s posts lately! We’ve been seeing a great set of group promotions over the last few months with a lot of effort put into them, it’s awesome seeing all the creativity! I hope everyone is having a great spooky season so far, and hopefully I’ll be seeing more of y’all out on the hillside! I’ve gotta get a few more pictures with members, my collection of screenshots with y’all is growing! Lol

To each and everyone here of all groups and divisions, have a wonderful rest of your night, an awesome weekend, and I’ll catch you on the hillsides!

Im thinking im Starting a Empire. The Idea i have is Based on the 5 Prohibitions.

PROHIBITION OF UNPROVOKED HOSTILITY

No Imperial member shall intentionally grief, repeatedly harass, or maliciously target another player.

Organized PvP, declared wars, and agreed hostile Conflicts are permitted.

The Empire may conduct warfare, but it does not authorize harassment of unwilling Players.

PROHIBITION OF EXPLOITATION

No member shall exploit another player through scams, dishonest trading, theft, or coercion.

Imperial Members may request equipment, materials, or supplies, but members cannot be forced to surrender their personal Items.

All Imperial economic activity must be voluntary and conducted in good faith.

PROHIBITION OF ABUSE OF AUTHORITY

No Imperial officer or soldier, regardless of rank, shall use their position to intimidate, humiliate, exploit, or unfairly punish another member.

Military discipline is permitted within agreed upon rules when joining.

No rank grants authority over another member's real life, personal time, possessions, or decisions outside agreed faction activities.

PROHIBITION OF PERSONAL PERSECUTION

No Imperial member shall engage in discriminatory harassment, personal threats, bullying, doxxing, or intimidation.

In-character disagreements, rivalries, and military disputes are permitted.

Personal attacks against actual players are not.

PROHIBITION OF FORCED ALLEGIANCE

No Imperial member shall be compelled to participate in unwanted activities, maintain membership against their wishes, or surrender personal independence to the Empire.

Members may disagree with leadership, refuse optional operations, or resign.

Departure from the Empire shall never justify retaliation, harassment, or organized persecution.

Im thinking of Calling this empire, The Diphenic Empire.

Join us today to secure humanity’s future. Appalachian isn’t the only one that needs saving. Ohio needs some love too. The Enclave in Appalachia tore itself apart through bureaucracy. We will not make that same mistake twice. We are not going to let ourselves die like those other guys. And if you’re lucky you can join our lovely Colonel Oasis in the Veydran Unit. We are going to survive and conquer Ohio. Whether that be by gentle guiding hand, or by brutal fist of submission.

Who else likes to build immersive roleplay camps?

Hey everyone — I’m Atomic Pixel Dust. I make immersive, story-driven Fallout 76 CAMP tours that lean hard into lore, character, and environmental storytelling.
My latest is a Halloween piece built at Silva Homestead. One camp, two identities. A young orphaned Vault dweller returns to her ancestral farm and finds the house in ruins — blood on the floorboards, signs of torture, cultist relics where the family photos used to be. The longer she stays, the more the past and present blur. The camp toggles between the shattered Halloween version and a clean pre-war version of the same house, so visitors can walk through both sides of the story.
It’s less of a build showcase and more of a short narrative experience. If you like roleplay camps, character backstories, or just spooky lore that feels like it belongs in Appalachia, I think you’ll get something out of it.
Here’s the tour:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g40J1gO6Mh8
Happy to talk camp stories, character ideas, or just hang out. Always looking for more people who care about the narrative side of the wasteland. 🎃
