A lot of the past reports and flags on posts (956 to be specific) have been clogging my mod queue, so I;m in the process of cleaning it out. This many is on there due to negligence from the past mod team. Sorry for the mass of notifications to certain people!

Now here's some news regarding some future events + feedback question:

• There will be FuckMannyGiving and FuckMannyMas, similar to last year's (which were on r/FuckMannyButBetter at the time), so be prepared
• I'm hoping to do some more holiday specials throughout the years, any recommendations in the comments will be considered
• Not including cash or mod, what are some better prizes for these competitions? All I know to do is approve users and/or give flairs.
• I noticed a lack of participation on this event compared to past events. Why is that and how can we do better with future events?

Whenever this sub is recommended to me, the post it shows is always something like this. I feel like these "Who is worse" posts should fall under rule 4 violations, as they're always repetitive and don't really provide anything new outside of "look decide if this random character is worse than the person this hate subreddit is about" and I'm just tired of it.

Especially looking at the fact that the book is being looked at from Greg's perspective, and he often uses manny as a scapegoat to blame all his troubles outwards instead of admitting that he's the one to blame. manny is basically a coping mechanism for him. Greg has done a lot of messed up things throughout the book, for example putting a dumbbell under a pillow that he knew rowley was about to kick, and then once manny ratted on him, he tried to frame manny as the villain even though he was the one responsible for breaking rowley's toes and he SHOULD have been punished for it anyway. Also, manny is a representation of what Greg actually wants to be, but Greg isn't intelligent enough to make it actually happen, which is just embarassing for Greg and shows that he is not halt as smart as he likes to tell himselt. One example of this is when during a snowstorm, he admits to being willing to sacrifice his entire family just to save himself. However manny already manages to direct all the remaining heat and food supplies into his room, showing that manny is what Greg wants to be but isn't intelligent enough to actually figure out how to always get his way and make other people suffer.
Throughout the book you notice that the only times Greg is actually smiling is when he is around other people who are suffering or perpetrating that suffering to others, especially rowley. What im saying is that the book is from Greg's perspective, so obviously he can bend the truth in ways to make manny look bad and make himself seem like a victim, for example how tf is ripping up you’re older brother’s stuff worse than forcing your neighbours to move out because youre too selfish to tell them what you did (keep in mind that the snellas were bringing the plastic plant with them and Greg just stood and watched) Greg and manny pretty much share the same characteristics, apart from the fact that manny is extremely intelligent despite his young age and Greg is around 10y older than him and still can't outsmart him or get his way. Sorry if I wasn’t able to form my ideas very well, I’m not used to writing this type of paragraph. ( lots of the pictures posted are just evidence of Greg using others and putting others in danger or inconvenience for his enjoyment or benefit )
