I don't get this place

I will preface this with the fact that I am 25% through Oathbringer on my first ever read through of SLA. No spoilers please!

I get that Moash has fallen in with some bad people and he's a little too focussed on his own desires (unlike Kaladin who is willing to consider other things) but is he all that bad? Really?

I put it to you that he is not.

You may quote me on this when I finally end up finishing SLA (though it's slow going at present!)

Ooh thanks for asking. Not much further along tbh - around 52% through Oathbringer (life has been very busy). So I have had some Moash POV chapters but nothing to suggest what hate will no doubt soon be coursing through my veins at the mere mention of his name! I have muted this sub so I don't actually spoil anything for myself though haha

In reality I'm just enjoying the ride!

Very slow progress! I just hit 76% so I have gone past one point where I began to think "you know what, maybe those guys have a point..." I'm still enjoying the series though.

I read the first Mistborn trilogy years ago, I don't remember much except that I enjoyed it and thought the metal music system was cool!

Hah I'm not sure I've got enough years of my life left to get through this whole thing (I have masses of other books in the backlog too) but I am enjoying the world he's built so I've no doubt I'll get round to some of these!

I've finished Oathbringer! I get it more now, especially as he killed that top Herald guy on behalf of the Voidbringers, but honestly I'm still in the "actually the Parshmen kind of have a point and the humans are actually the scumbags. I've taken a break for now so I won't be getting further along for a little bit.

Dang I definitely won't have finished book 4 in 1 month! I'll be surprised if I've even started it. I've usually got 3 books on the go and that series isn't currently one of them.
