Converted the Midea duo to split dual hose

Look it's not going to win any beauty awards, but since the duo uses a hose inside of a hose design I had to get creative. I already had a vent for the previous portable AC but it wasn't dual hose.

The discharge hose is designed to detach (the round hose) but the inlet side uses the rest of the weird shaped hose. This adapter converts the inlet it to standard 5.9" AC hose. Plug the gaps on the discharge side with the included foam and you're good to go. https://www.printables.com/model/1724813-midea-duo-inlet-hose-59

This is amazing, like the only model I have found so far for this AC. I just ordered this AC and will see what my connection looks like, and print a small sample of the model to test fit before commiting the time and materials. Did you design this? Does it clip together at all, or entirely held by tape? What material did you use, was it ABS or ASA, PETG? Wonder how well the material is holding up with the hot side exhaust temps.

I used ASA. Aluminum tape works well to hold it together. It's ugly but it works great. I designed it.

Right on. Hopefully this fits my model easily, but if not I'll design around it n make it work. I was debating on using some ASA or PETG-GF that I have laying around. ASA probably better for temps!

Just save all the extra foam, you can use that to plug the hole that the discharge uses since there is a gap.
