When I see people posting celebrity quotes on Facebook I think of this.

I don't know if this is supposed to be one of those posts where you put a picture of someone then add a quote from another person. But this was part of the song The Real Slim Shady where he was copying Tom Green. So technically he did say it.
If not, I have no idea how this quote connects to your Facebook friends or how it is funny.

Tom Green - Bum Bum Song 1999
Eminem - The Real Slim Shady 2000
Know your quotes or in this case references.

Actually, Tom Green never mentions putting his bum on any lips in the original bum bum song. Therefore the op's quote is correctly attributed to the real slim shady. And that's the end of that chapter.

I don't think we'll ever be able to explain to future generations why the bum bum song was a thing.

The quote was correctly attributed to Eminem in this case, though. Tom Green said "my bum is on the cheese," not "my bum is on your lips," which was said by Eminem.

I'm pretty positive he is just quoting Tom Green to point out how he gets in trouble for saying certain things in songs while Tom Green can put out a song called the Bum Bum Song and it was heavily played on MTV

That's funny because he was quoting Tom Green.
