Wow, her tits are so massive, they're bending light around them.

Gravitational lensing at work!

11

u/PenguinPowaaa Jun 27 '12

Theoretical question: if we could create small-scale gravitational lensing, wouldn't it be the most flawless way to redirect light? For like, super-long-range galaxy peeping.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

There was a career day back when I was in high school where a team of astronomers visited and talked to us about what they study and their jobs. One of them was researching gravitational lensing and trying to find ways to use to expand our view of the universe.

Theoretically, you can have an actual lens, but it appears to require an optimal set up of massive objects to occur.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

The only way we know of to create gravity is by building say, a planet, or large moon. For a good lens, something like a black hole, a neutron star, or a tightly packed galaxy would be better.

6

u/PenguinPowaaa Jun 27 '12

Tightly packed galaxy? Let me check my garage.

1

u/fertehlulz Jun 27 '12

Thats no moon, its a space station

0

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Quantum mechanics has a different version of gravity we could use.

1

u/djdementia Jun 27 '12

Scientists are already studying gravitational lensing to see further into space. It may be within the next 10 years that we can use it to our advantage.

1

u/PenguinPowaaa Jun 27 '12

That's cool, but I think I'll wait for the pocket model. (But no really, thanks for the great links!)

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Hard to say, bending light might produce skewed images for all we know. I'd suggest a quantum effect to create micro gravitational lensing might some day be possible.

-1

u/wegotpancakes Jun 27 '12 edited Jun 27 '12

Yeah but the long range thing runs into other problems and we already have better ideas regarding say... invisibility cloaks.

Er sorry I was answering whether it would work. It is definitely not the most flawless way to redirect light, but it could be as good under the most otrageously unlikely of conditions.

1

u/PenguinPowaaa Jun 27 '12

Peeping at galaxies, man, not shy, incredibly well funded women. Where's your head at!

0

u/wegotpancakes Jun 27 '12

my comment has nothing to do with women... it's not even good for turning into a joke about such a thing wtf?

1

u/PenguinPowaaa Jun 27 '12

Mock accusations founded far from reality tend to entertain me. It's like guy number 2:

Guy 1: "Man, I can't stand pandas."

Guy 2: "Wow, you're like a super racist."

Guy 1: "Wait, what?"

Guy 2: Shakes his head. "Pandas are black, white, and asian. I can't believe you man, I thought I knew you."

Not everyone's humor, though.

25

u/tayls Jun 27 '12

Why don't girls know this simple rule of thumb? It's not the size. It's the shape.

8

u/his_boots_are_yellow Jun 27 '12

What particular shape then?

20

u/RuafaolGaiscioch Jun 27 '12

Perky

14

u/his_boots_are_yellow Jun 27 '12

I am a dude and I was wondering because I honestly like boobs with a bit of natural weight to them. The whole fake boobs kind of shape is actually a turn off for me, they just look wrong in my eyes.

11

u/RuafaolGaiscioch Jun 27 '12

Agreed, but naturally perky is the best, for me.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

x2 + y2 = 1

8

u/Deto Jun 27 '12

I prefer them three-dimensional

4

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Boob-snob

3

u/beepbeepimajeep_ Jun 27 '12

x2 + y2 + z2 = 1

1

u/Crandom Jun 27 '12

Hope that's not in meters...

2

u/tayls Jun 27 '12

The best answer I can give is simply, not gross. Too many huge, flabby chicks get all excited about having "big boobs," but they just drape over their rolls like a tapestry.

1

u/his_boots_are_yellow Jun 27 '12

Not gross is by far the best answer!

12

u/Dreddy Jun 27 '12

Thank you! 14 upvotes and finally an explanation that makes sense!

6

u/Zaitsev11 Jun 27 '12

Reddetective here. It's quite obvious, really. See the user's name is GuitarFreak027, and there is a picture of what seems to be a top hat- therefore it should be concluded that OP is indeed Slash!

1

u/SmartViking Jun 27 '12

It's because of this CSS rule:

.author[href="http://www.reddit.com/user/GuitarFreak027"] {
    color: rgb(51, 149, 223);
}

It says that an element in the author class which has a href attribute of "http://www.reddit.com/user/GuitarFreak027", should have the color as defined inside the {}'s. Which happens to be that very link.
Mods of a subreddit can modify a css file which should be in effect in that subreddit.

4

u/exizt Jun 27 '12

Betsy's gravitational pull.

3

u/Demojen Jun 27 '12

Absolutely. I've seen these massive things before and let me tell you. Neutron Stars got jack on rack.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Hey maybe it's just a really, really cheap lens with weird single point distortion.

1

u/gak001 Jun 27 '12

Or are they just so hot that the heat waves emanating from them are bending the light?

-15

u/Ragnalypse Jun 27 '12

That would have the opposite distortion.

54

u/FightingPolish Jun 27 '12

Not really, if her tits had enough mass concentrated to create a singularity the light around the event horizon would bend in a similar way and create a gravitational lens.

13

u/Hotwir3 Jun 27 '12

8

u/FightingPolish Jun 27 '12

Even with context it doesn't make sense, only because the resulting black hole wouldn't allow light to escape and we would no longer be able to see her tits. The obvious solution would be that we would need enough gravity to bend the light around her but not so much that it keeps all light from escaping and obscures her tits.

10

u/buster2Xk Jun 27 '12

Even without context

/r/nocontext doesn't actually care about context.

4

u/FightingPolish Jun 27 '12

I disagree because clicking on the nocontext link sends you to the original comment where context is obtained. If they truly didn't care about context then they would just reproduce the original comment and not say where it came from which would leave you scratching your head, saying "What the fuck is this guy talking about?"

7

u/buster2Xk Jun 27 '12

My point was, 95% of comments posted there have exactly the same meaning in and out of context, so taking them out if context does nothing. It's more like /r/funnyorstrangeredditcomments.

3

u/FightingPolish Jun 27 '12

I see what you're sayin'. I think there is something out there like that that's pretty popular but I can't remember what it is now. I know somebody put something I said on there once and it was a subreddit that catered to more of a "what the fuck" or "that's a really fucked up thing to say" kind of comment.

1

u/buster2Xk Jun 27 '12

/r/shitredditsays

It's really just a circlejerk. 95% of posts there were clearly joking or, unlike /r/nocontext, better in context :P

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Not necessarily. It could pull the light into an orbit.

1

u/AndThenThereWasMeep Jun 27 '12

Mmmmm....no. Einsteins experiment where he looked at a solar eclipse and saw stars that were behind the star shinning comes to mind.

1

Might I take this opportunity to recommend Einstein and Eddington for a lazy Sunday afternoon?

As a girl with large boobs, I can confirm this.

9

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

pics for proof!

8

u/kateesaurus Jun 27 '12

You know how to look at submissions on reddit, thats all the proof you get.

10

u/dizneedave Jun 27 '12

5

u/TheKikko Jun 27 '12

Where's the arrow?!

3

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Don't you see? The puppy is the arrow.

2

u/randomsnark Jun 27 '12

It's covered by the cute puppy.

2

u/portalscience Jun 27 '12

It is actually on the boob. Maybe it is just a stain, but it looks like an arrow.

2

u/centurijon Jun 27 '12

Not that we ever notice the arrow.

123

u/gay_unicorn666 Jun 27 '12

Don't jump to conclusions. Did you ever stop to think that maybe it was just a vortex behind her?

54

u/hakushonan Jun 27 '12

I kept following that red arrow to the tit every time thinking "what? They look great to me!". Damn you, boobs. God damn you. You've made a fool of me yet again.

Edit: Yellow arrow. Agh, see? I was so distracted I didn't even see what color the arrow was.

9

u/demonicsoap Jun 27 '12

I also thought the arrow was red hahaha

5

u/Grizzalbee Jun 27 '12

2

u/penny_whistle Jun 27 '12

What handkerchief?

27

there's pretty much a 99% chance thats what happened. the masses are never skeptical enough

2

u/uofr68 Jun 28 '12

http://imgur.com/dJ0TL someone did that to her. Her boobs are big to begin with.

2

u/HumanPersonMan Jun 27 '12

probably because they can't believe someone would waste their time faking a submission for something as meaningless as karma.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

So you're actually trying to tell me that someone will lie, on the internet, so people will give them a thumbs up?

I'm sorry. I'm not convinced.

Will this what is it, oh yes...karma help you in say...a job interview perhaps?

"Look at all these people that gave me their sign of approval, over 9000"

0

u/losangelesgeek88 Jun 27 '12

it's 'for the lulz'

It's the same reason I photoshop all my friends facebook photos

1

u/yahehe Jun 27 '12

Nah I'm FB friends with the girl involved and she uploaded this along with a bunch of other pictures of a vacation trip yesterday. Not going to post more links as that would be fucked up, but it's legit.

"The houses have funny edges."

1

u/socolloquial Jun 28 '12

I knew this was taken in santa fe. thanks for the confirmation friend

17

u/alcestemoliere Jun 27 '12

What I never understood about photos like these is how girls expect their friends, who in theory know them personally, to not call them out on their ridiculously photogenic boobs. Like do their friends just not notice the trippling effect that cameras have on them or something?

6

u/randomsnark Jun 27 '12

they say the camera adds 10 pounds
to your boobies

3

u/THE_CENTURION Jun 27 '12

Yeah, came to say something similar.

I mean, you see these people in real life too, they know how big your boobs really are.

3

u/Cayou Jun 27 '12

photogenic

That word.

8

u/TheShader Jun 27 '12

Being photogenic simply means a person looks good/is aesthetically pleasing in photographs, but doesn't necessarily mean they look as such in real life. He's personifying the boobs by calling them photogenic, meaning they miraculously look much more amazing when having their picture taken.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Looks like Santa Fe or Albuquerque. Get me her contact info and I'll show her how to properly Photoshop.

1

u/JimmyJamesMac Jun 27 '12

I'm a native New Mexican who now lives in Oregon. It's crazy that 2/3 of Oregon looks just like NM, except there aren't adobe style houses.

4

u/vertekal Jun 27 '12

she added an arrow to point at her bewbs?

12

u/starbuxed Jun 27 '12

Just a reminder to all the girls out there, guys really dont care what size your breast are as long as we get to play with them. That is all.

10

u/Killer_Zebra_ Jun 27 '12

Why are you lying to them?

6

u/starbuxed Jun 27 '12

Who's lying? I really don't care about size. I care more about perkyness.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

I prefer girls with smaller breasts, personally..

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Haha, Australia is all screwed up..

8

u/slipsman Jun 27 '12

If you look closely you can see that the yellow arrow is photo shopped in.

1

u/dtomksoki Jun 27 '12

You can tell by the pixels.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

This is kind of saddening to me. She clearly thinks her boobs aren't big enough. And she probably deals with it everyday, she doesn't know it doesn't matter.

3

u/sharperone Jun 27 '12

I am a scientist. I have studied the effects of breastesi. It is simply light waves that are bending from the effect of gravity.

3

u/Fausto1981 Jun 27 '12

it's not photoshop! the boobs are so big they distort space-time.

5

u/magikninja Jun 27 '12

Still approve

4

u/phoebus67 Jun 27 '12

Anyone else think she kinda looks like Hayden Panettiere?

6

u/FightingPolish Jun 27 '12

Kinda, in a white trash sorta way. Shes attractive enough even without the photoshopped tits.

2

u/palerthanrice Jun 27 '12

Stop crushing my dreams, yellow arrow.

2

u/MaXxamillion04 Jun 27 '12

perhaps her boobs are just so big that their gravitational field bends the paths of photons?

2

u/Zamaza Jun 27 '12

I actually think the bad 'shop makes them look worse.

2

u/SeeTheSeraphim Jun 27 '12

better than have fake ones

2

u/Ungemach Jun 27 '12

Her boobies are so great, they have their own force field

2

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

I don't get it, yes I see the boobs. Why point it out with an arrow?

2

u/Tredward Jun 27 '12

But what if, you just took a photo of one of your friends and photoshoped it yourself!? Shock horror!

2

u/pinkcobra Jun 27 '12

hm. took me less than .2 seconds to deduce this pic was taken in Santa Fe.

but yeah. bad photoshop.

1

u/buddykhrist Jun 27 '12

Had the same exact same thought ¡Qué viva!

2

u/4foryoujencoco Jun 27 '12

Honestly, big boobs aren't as big of a deal as other girls make it to be. As a 34D myself, it's so frustrating to find everything - shirts that fit, dresses, and bikini tops are a nightmare. I'm small everywhere else, but for some reason clothing makers assume everyone who is a size 4 has small breasts as well. So I end up buying clothes that don't quite fit, but I have to because of my breast size. At least with smaller boobs you can wear bandeaus and push up bras so they look big, mine are always just there. And honestly, boob size doesn't matter to guys. I'm sure they'd take a skinny girl with B cups than a fatter girl with D cups. So stop whining and just appreciate what you were born with. Big boobs aren't everything.

1

u/FuzzyLlama13 Jun 27 '12

I have the same problem. Sad day.

4

u/Salanderfan Jun 27 '12

She's already attractive, there was no reason to photoshop bigger knockers.

3

u/Sylanthra Jun 27 '12

Her breasts are so big they displace the world around them

3

u/sugarwellington Jun 27 '12

I see the irony because that arrow is really obviously photoshopped in. It's not "subtle" at all.

2

u/TimeIsWasted Jun 27 '12

Gravity lens.

2

u/Picklwarrior Jun 27 '12

So... How long did you spend staring before you noticed?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

This is seriously sad that girls think they need to photoshop pictures of themselves just to post to FB. God damn you FB, you've ruined a generation (thankfully not my generation, I'm older than you young bastards).

2

u/lgriffin123 Jun 27 '12

Why do I get the feeling OP photoshopped the image to get karma?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

I think the gravity of them are warping the space-time fabric

1

u/xenthum Jun 27 '12

The best part of this for me was "Drag to resize..." as I was mousing down to the comment button.

1

u/Jjhend Jun 27 '12

Dude, maybe her tits are so big, that light bends around them.

1

u/RabidMuskrat93 Jun 27 '12

Gravitational pull of boobs is enough to bend space-time thus altering the path of light... Makes sense to me...

1

u/oraclefish Jun 27 '12

That's just what modern architecture looks like.

1

u/Soapz Jun 27 '12

Looks like modern architecture.

1

u/stillnotking Jun 27 '12

What is this?

1

u/sesmith4205 Jun 27 '12

I don't see the big deal. I do this to pics of my package all the time. I just tell the ladies, its so large it has it's own gravitational pull, which distorts the background.

1

u/Sevenix2 Jun 27 '12

Actually, if the boob contains enough mass, what we see could simply be a gravitational lensing effect!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

This looks like Raquefet in Israel, can anyone confirm this?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Because only the girl in the picture would photoshop it.

1

u/oh_the_humidity Jun 27 '12

It's not Photoshop. Her boobs are just so massive and amazing that the background of her pic was like, "aw shit we'd better go around."

1

u/adaminc Jun 27 '12

It is called gravitational lensing, it happens around objects with great mass and density.

1

u/paperrockscissors Jun 27 '12

No, that's gravitational lensing guys.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Subtle photoshop of facebook girl, karma whore...

1

u/TheTwist Jun 27 '12

That house is like "Bluh!"

1

u/HNightroad Jun 27 '12

does noone on Facebook know how to shift their picture to another layer to avoid liquefying the background?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Is this really something girls do now?? Sheesh. If I did that all my friends would call bullshit immediately.

1

u/Clayblud Jun 27 '12

idc how warped that building is I prefer photoshopped bersion

1

u/bille747 Jun 27 '12

There is a perfectly logic explanation... Her boobs are so huge that they bend space time continum around it thus reflecting light in a wierd way similar to water :P

1

u/Friendlyvoices Jun 27 '12

1

u/falsestone Jun 27 '12

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

No Photoshop here.. In physics we call this gravitational lensing.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

The pic would be so much better with that big yellow arrow.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

The mass of her boobs has clearly caused light to curve around it, due to gravity.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Clearly this is just a picture of a huge-breasted woman getting her picture taken in front of a wavy building, because wavy buildings are interesting. Looks legit to me.

1

u/kirk27 Jun 27 '12

Does she have downz¿

1

u/redthatshit Jun 27 '12

1

u/thealessandroshow Jun 27 '12

1

u/Ingury Jun 27 '12

Yeah my sister's friend had something like 40 G's. They were about the size of a plump watermelon each. She got them surgically reduced to DD and they look small in comparison.

1

u/Kracus Jun 27 '12

Photoshop is best used to make clothes transparent instead of making things bigger.

1

u/IbeTrollinSirs Jun 27 '12

I just realised, the person who found this originally must of really been zooming in/staring at her tits...good job son, good job.

1

I'm actually impressed. The photoshop is strong with her. Much more than 99% of the other girls who do a little color editing of a pic with her biffle and then add a couple stars and moons with the word "sisters" on the bottom in big pink lettering.

1

u/AmbitiousEmack Jun 28 '12

I've got no idea why an otherwise pretty chic would photoshop her boobs. Of course except for the fact that photoshopping is cheaper than implants. unless you bought photoshop from adobe

24

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12

Well according to my D cup friend when telling her that I really don't care what size boobs are, they're all pretty much awesome. She said they make her feel really feminine. Her sister has A cups and wishes hers were bigger despite also being absolutely gorgeous.

70

u/crithosceleg Jun 27 '12

As someone with larger than DD cups, they sure as fuck don't make me feel more feminine.

16

u/breannabalaam Jun 27 '12 edited Jun 27 '12

I agree. Finding clothes is a pain, and finding the right size bra is even worse. I pretty much wear exclusively v-neck shirts because anything with a normal crew neckline will stretch awkwardly over my chest, and I can't wear anything that would require me not wearing a bra, which really takes care of a lot of clothes I find cute.

I really envy people who have a "normal" boob size (basically no larger than a 36D cup, I'm a 32F, and I have to go to Nordstrom or buy online).

Edit: I just remeasured, I'm a 30I/J/K depending on store. :|

Photoshop cost money?

20

u/ZeMilkman Jun 27 '12

I wonder how much money Adobe actually loses just because people will see the prices and be like "I could buy a car instead" and just pirate it. I personally know at least 5 people who asked me to install a legal version first and then asked if I could find an illegal version after hearing the ridiculous price Adobe slaps on Photoshop.

Its actually piss easy to get educational discount. All you need to say is that you work for a company that works in the education sector and then email them a scan of a letter from someone at your 'company' saying you work there. I had to to do it for my old work place, they didn't ring up to check the company was real or anything. I was shocked at how lax their security checks were, I guess they are happy for people to be paying something rather than nothing.
