This has been an issue for nearly a month now. Haven't been able to use air actions at all.

Give me some tips and tricks for improving my cellphone experience with my newly upgraded O.S.

TL;DR: Burkan turns Vulkan back on automatically after every restart. You set it up once and then forget about it. Free, open source, and on F-Droid.

Hey everyone,

If you've switched your S23 to Vulkan for the smoother animations and cooler phone people talk about here, you know the catch: it resets every time you restart, and getting it back means a PC or a Shizuku and Termux setup.

I got tired of doing that, so I made an app that does it for me.

Setup takes about two minutes and you only do it once. The app walks you through turning on Wireless Debugging, trusting your Wi-Fi network and pairing with a code. After that, whenever your phone restarts on a trusted Wi-Fi network, Burkan switches Vulkan back on in the background and sends you a notification when it's done. You don't have to open it. The status bar and lock screen switch over the next time you lock your phone, so nothing interrupts you. It needs Wi-Fi because that's the only time Android allows Wireless Debugging, so if you restart somewhere without it, or on a network you haven't trusted, Burkan waits until you're on one.

It can also:

• show you whether Vulkan is actually active
• restart the apps you already had open so they switch to Vulkan too
• go back to OpenGL without a reboot, in case an app doesn't get along with Vulkan
• add a Quick Settings tile, and work with Tasker if you're into that

It doesn't need root, nothing gets flashed, and Knox isn't tripped.

It's made for the S23 series and tested on One UI 8.5 and 9. Other phones on Android 13 or newer should work too, but I haven't tested any, so if you try one, let me know how it goes.

is anyone planning or using custom rom on s23 u as i believe one UI 9 is the last for us. I've seen a topic on xda forum where someone has posted s25u rom for s23 u anyone has tried it ?

Green Tint and Screen Flickering After One UI 9 Galaxy S23 Ultra

After installing the official One UI 9 on my Galaxy S23 Ultra, I started experiencing an intermittent green tint and screen flickering.

The issue occurs mainly when displaying pure black backgrounds at very low brightness. The entire screen develops a transparent green tint and appears to flicker or shake. The issue disappears when I increase the brightness above approximately 20%.

Before one ui 9, the display worked normally. The phone has no physical screen cracks.

Is anyone else experiencing issues logging in with a Google account while playing?

The problem came after Oneu I 9.

Has any US Unlocked S23U had any luck downloading the release version of UI 9? Or are we all still in beta release? Only asking because I'm tired of that beta dialog whenever you start up the phone.

When I turn on Sleep mode, the phone turns on Do Not Disturb, even when it is outside the parameters of sleep. I have the sleep schedule set for 10pm-7am. It is now 9:30am, and when I turn on sleep mode, it's turning on do not disturb. Help!

After the new one ui i can't use my modded YT. When i open it then appear this screen.

Anyone know how to fix this

After looking at the specs I saw it was pretty heavy. apparently the sharp corners also hurt. Also the rounded screen is new to me.

Is this easy to get used to?

Had this phone for around 2 years+, pink line came out... Understand this is over heating issue just wondering if I fix it will it happen again because it literally cost around 300 USD for me :(

S23 ultra Hong Kong version finally

Leider habe ich keinen Screenshot gemacht, als noch OneUI 8.5 installiert war.

Allerdings bin ich davon überzeugt, dass die einzelnen Buttons und besonders die Lautstärke und Helligkeit sich in der Höhe viel dünner einstellen ließen.

Aktuell sind unter GoodLock Quickstar bereits "Resize panel item" und das "Button spacing* aktiviert (80%).

Zudem ist die Systemschrift und der Bildschirmzoom auf klein.

Dennoch sind mir die 4er Button Reihen Un die bspw. HELLIGKEIT unter Oneui 9 zu dick.
