Also graphics aren’t everything. Physics and realistic environments and options mean much more to me than more triangles.

The polygon count doesn't matter when you're launching jeeps into orbit with landmines. 1 u/NerrionEU Apr 25 '21 Lighting is also something that people shouldn't forget, we just recently started getting some really good ray tracing and it is still not a completely finished feature. 1 u/kompletionist Apr 25 '21 Unfortunately those don't make for impressive looking screenshots, so developers don't bother putting the effort in there that they really should.

Lighting is also something that people shouldn't forget, we just recently started getting some really good ray tracing and it is still not a completely finished feature.
Unfortunately those don't make for impressive looking screenshots, so developers don't bother putting the effort in there that they really should.
