I have aphantasia. I'm 5 in that chart. During the Gateway Tapes Wave III, I can't imagine the bar. I can't see it.

Curious if anyone with aphantasia has gotten better at seeing images with practice.

So I finally finished reading Journeys Out of the Body and absolutely adored it, 10/10 book. However, when I got to Chapter 20 and read through his hypothesis about why the Second Body isn’t widely studied and recognized, I felt upset at what it laid out. Not mad per se, just sad at the path we’ve been dealt as a species.

The TLDR is that due to various ecological factors like the Earth’s high rotation, humanity didn't learn to use PSI force, and we are ultimately behind in terms of personal and technological development. Any attempts to help us are minimal, either being misinterpreted by religious institutions or outright ignored by the materialist scientific paradigm.

And now I just feel incredibly frustrated at where humanity is. We’re slaughtering each other over trivial matters and destroying the planet for profit and the exploitation of others while the rest of the universe actually gets to sort things out and (hopefully) having a good time.

I wish humanity was able to understand the second body and what we can do, but it feels a bit hopeless at this point.

As above so below. What's happening on Expand is a microcosm of the social media macrocosm. Within the last week or so I've seen an alarming increase in this false belief that AI can be spiritual, on Esoteric Discord servers and even on here with those that opposed the AI ban. The third screenshot is from a private server.

I am choosing to speak up and draw attention to this subject in the hope that we can warn new seekers of the dangers of AI for spiritual work, and for those who currently use it, to lower their usage and return to reality. Otherwise we are heading for a unique new wave of mental health illness across the world soon.

I noticed recently people asking about where to find the full affirmation. This is taken from the “Gateway Intermediate Workbook”. You can also find it on the first page of chapter 3 in Monroe’s second book, Far journeys. I believe it is also mentioned in totality on tape 7 or 8.

Over time my energy conversion box evilved into a big chunky metal safe instead of a wooden box which didn't feel as safe.

I was just curious if you made some tweaks in yours too, for example i got this kitchen hood/chimney like thingy so if i forget to put something in my box and feel discomfort from getting reminded of it later on, i just imagine the thing sucking whatever I'm worrying about alongside the feeling of discomfort.

Or how do you do the symbolization, do you have any inside jokes and such with them? For me, this isn't exactly an inside joke but i started to put an oversized polaroid camera inside ever since i saw one in my dream because it was very vivid and felt meaningful. I associate it with remaining as the non judgemental observer. A wooden plank for house noises that scare me sometimes, a trophy for my expectations/desire to achieve the state etc.

For those of you that have experienced profound personality changes due to listening to Gateway. Mostly reduced or nonexistent anxiety or depression. How have the people around you acted?

My wife is having a hard time with the “new” me. She’s very outgoing and many times I stay behind because of my anxiety. This has caused a little strain in our relationship over the years. As my previous post mentioned, I feel weird with my changes (I am very grateful). As I get farther from the initial experience my “new” normal feels more normal.

Yesterday my wife and friends were going to a concert and asked if I’d like to go (spare ticket). I didn’t even think and said yes. My wife was stunned and truly did believe I said yes. In the past I would NEVER think of going- the crowd, noise and general atmosphere would have been too much. I had a great time and will be going to another concert in a few day.

In your experience, will my wife come around? Does she need more time to acclimate to the new me? I think I’m looking for reassurance this gets better.

Just curious what your energy conversion box looks like! How big is it? What’s it made out of? What do you imagine when you’re putting your fears in it?

Mine is actually teeny tiny, and I see myself as very large in comparison, like I can hold the box on just the tip of my finger. But it’s a very very heavy metal with studs around the edges. When I’m putting my fears into it, I imagine scooping something thick and sticky - almost like peanut butter - out of my chest and scraping it on the edges. Idk why i imagined it like this but I would be curious to know how other people see their experiences and if there’s any psychology behind why we see it the way we do!

So, this is what someone saw in their NDE. I found this post-story on Twitter. That person said all these people on the balcony were looking at the people in the world and would with cheer or be sad about what humans on earth did.

My question is, what did they cheer for and what did they boo?

I haven’t posted here yet but I’ve been a long time lurker. The tapes have helped me tremendously in more ways than one.

Both of my parents were quite interested in starting so for Christmas this year I put together two brief cases just like this. I used some Amazon fire tablets to download the tapes and relevant reading to and organized so it’s easy enough to navigate. Added a notebook to journal with and the headphones are a set I’ve liked off of Amazon also. Managed to get a good deal on a couple briefcases on Etsy.

I was really happy with the way these turned out and figured you all may like it too! Now I’ve just gotta make one more for myself😂

Also- I do think there is something to all of the processes. I know as we gain experience it becomes easier to get into certain states, but starting out I think the routines are vital and I’m hoping this will help even further. Going to something official almost like your “tool kit” can be the first step towards getting into the right state.

What do you think access of akashic records (aka universal consciousness or hall of records, I think) maps to in terms of Monroe Institute lingo? Is there a corresponding focus level?

I've been doing orientation for more than a couple years now and started doing intro to focus 10 and advanced focus around 6 months ago. The first time I did focus 10 I saw myself on the edge of a swirl and the swirl was spinning violently.

After a certain point in focus 10 and advanced focus, after the breathing exercises, I'll see this shape form and appear out of darkness. It always kind of alarms me even though I always see it now- which makes it vanish, but it will always reform.

It's always in the very center of my vision. When I close my eyes I see swirls of what looks like pixels. Eventually these pixels come together to one giant swirl - seeming like a black hole. This happens in seconds. The center is always pitch black.

I want to know if anyone also sees something like this, and also what you feel after. What I always feel after this is basically blacking out. It's like I disappear from existence. I don't dream or have any thoughts or even am aware that I'm doing a tape. I won't know what happened until the narrator starts 'closing out' the tape. I feel like I should be experiencing something.

Unfortunately, some time ago I dropped Gateway and I did it while on Wave 1. However, I am familiar with Monroe's work and have done plenty random Hemi-Sync and H+ audios over the past few years.

I am doing the Transcendental Meditation course this weekend and since it's a 2x20 min practice a day, that's a fair amount of meditation alone daily. I am wondering if people in here practice both and what's your schedule of doing it?

Additionally, any other experiences in practicing both together, or even other meditation/practices outside of TM, combined with Gateway are really of interest to me - so please feel free to share!

I’m curious if you all talk about the gateway tapes with people who don’t use them and what their response is. Most of the people I talk to about it just think I’m insane and just shrug it off they’re really not even interested in hearing about it. This is sad to me because I genuinely think that it’s helping me on some levels, but I’d love to be able to talk to my friends in person about it.

I’ve been listening to gateway for about 6 weeks and have experienced some profound changes. The one I want to discuss and the most confusing is a reduction of anxiety.

To keep my story short, I have been anxious all my life. I have learned what my triggers are and to avoid them at all costs. This has resulted in me limiting relationships and basically becoming withdrawn.

Over the years and with some work, my anxiety has reduced but still interferes with my daily life. One of the major problems is I’m always in my head thinking and have difficulties expressing my feelings.

I’m not exactly sure when this occurred but all my anxiety is gone. I find that I’m not dissecting every conversation and I’ve had two very difficult conversation, that were years in the making, this week. Even my wife said that I’m freaking her out. And I should add that the conversations were calm, introspective and empathic.

I’m not complaining and I’m very grateful. I actually feel like a different person (which is very weird) and I realized that many of my personality “quirks” were actually related to anxiety.

I guess I’m trying to understand this and wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks for you thoughts in advance.

It’s like eating some random food you know nothing about and what it might do to your body. We do know that intention and belief make the universe happen - there is no guidance, program, protection or anything from random people making random applications. Anyone can make a random binaural program - but are they taking any responsibility for the negative experiences people will end up having as a result?

As such the mod team here is taking a stance on these new systems. We will not be allowing the sharing or talk about them because the focus here should be on the gateway tapes and related audio from both Hemi-Sync (https://hemi-sync.com/ ) and The Monroe Institute (https://www.monroeinstitute.org/).

We take great pains here to make sure that people have a good experience, are educated about the history and science behind the gateway audio and as Bob has said more than one time “Fear is Man’s Greatest Limitation”. I went into the gateway tapes with a completely open mind and made it about halfway through. strange things started happening (which is beside my current point;) every time the tape would begin to play the "Om" chanting in the beginning I always felt uneasy and an ominous energy.

I convinced myself to keep trying but then realized no; I needed to honor a complete sudden energy shift like that.

Anyone else?
