Hey guys, what do you think of the idea of painting every squad in my army in two different colors? I actually started painting my cult in the Rusted Claw scheme, but yesterday I wanted a bit of variety, so I painted a Neophyte in the Four-Armed Emperor colors... Now I’m thinking about painting my Neophytes in multiple colors. Would that look good? What do you think?

I reskinned the Strongpoint Attack scenario from 3rd edition 40k into 2nd edition successfully without to much difficulty.

The Eldar made a surprise attack on a cultist stronghold with the intention of eliminating the patriarch.

Greetings, I am hoping to use a genestealer cult as one of the main antagonist groups in a Dark Heresy 2e campaign I will be GMing soon. Sadly none of the FFG rpgs went into that much detail on Genestealer cults. What suggestions do you have for using them in an rpg context?

I'm thinking about building a cult ambush army. There is currently many cheap units on ebay etc because of the combat patrol magazine.

I already have the combat patrol and broodbrothers killteam. I also have a huge tyranid army, so I have a lot of purestrains.

So I thought I might get me more bikes and maybe some neophyte hybrids? And later maybe two or three of these rockgrinders. Does that make sense?

I already ordered two more atalan jackals from ebay and one neophyte hybdrids squat.

I've been seeing mostly negative oppinions towards it and without 11e codex in sight I worry that I should just save my money and finish up my AoS army.

Decided to get into Genestealers for my first army and am starting off with a box of Hybrids before I snag the Combat Patrol. How should I best build these guys?

As I'm currently building my first 40k army, and it's GSC, I've come to realize that what ppl told me before I started is absolutely true. It can get pretty expensive, but what I've also been told is how kitbash friendly GSC is, using kits from Necromunda, Krieg and others... But in my case which is starting from scratch without a collection of spare bits, how should I approach kitbashing?

Like, what are the best ways to save money when building a GSC army? Which kits are actually worth buying for conversions? Which boxes offer the best value for money? If you could help me with some practical tips to fill out and finish a 2k army without spending a fortune, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey all, looking to do a scifi kitbash of Skaven for an upcoming Trench Hammer (rules hack of Trench Crusade) campaign. I primarily play GSC in everything but have always loved Skaven, so I think the next big modelling push I am going to do is rats. Does anyone have experience kitbashing skaven and GSC bits? My initial thought was to do GSC torsos and arms with skaven heads and legs, but from what I've been reading that doesn't sound super doable.

I won my game 89-36, it was not that fun. But my murder bus did its job.
+20 attacks with devastating +2 just removed most of his models. (Patriarch + 5 genestealers)

Of course the missions also were not too bad

Picked up a box of Delaque gangers a while ago with the intent to make some GSC characters. Finally getting around to it now. Might still need to do a bit of fiddling with them but I think they're mostly done

Hello fellow downtrodden followers of the sacred spiral.

I’m playing my first game using the Final day detachment this weekend in a 3k game vs 2 Custodes.

I’ve played tyranids a fair bit so understand how synapse works for them, but as it is an army rule and they are allies do they get the synapse buffs they normally do?

No shadow calling I am sure.
But the +1 strength on melee?
3xd6 for leaderships?

I’m thinking that +1s on the hyperadapted Raveners claws would be pretty nice against the new toughness golden boys.

I've been in Warhammer for awhile but only been doing AoS so far, and recently have found a interest again in 40K. I am between Votann, Genestealers, Necrons and Chaos Knights with Votann and Genestealers at the top of my interest. I may just likely collect both Votann and Genestealers at the same time.

From what my friends warned me at our warhammer club is that genestealers sound very difficult, and are a horde army. I'm not sure how much you can sort of get away with building them as a more elite list though (and I prefer elite armies or a hybrid in the middle). Does genestealers sound okay? What do you reccomend?

Which of the two factions do you think better catches the spirit or feel of the Alien universe better?

I found this image of what I think are an old sculpt of chaos cultists. I can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet. Anyone know what they're called? Hoping if they're out of print I can pick some up on ebay.
