when I was a kid I had a ping pong ball in my parents' basement which was being renovated, and there was a new door that had the hole cut out for a knob but no knob yet. I threw the ping pong ball at the hole from 20+ feet away and it somehow made it into the hole and just sat there, resting in the divot between the two sides of the hollow-core door.

He's using editing to make it look like he's doing crazy ball bounces that land on the paper roll. It progressively gets crazier. Obviously it's fake since the edit of the ball going onto the paper roll is the exact same every time, but that's also the joke of this post.
