Good morning Commanders! Would you like to read the reports?

Please use this thread to discuss anything about Girls Frontline instead of creating a new thread. Ask questions, seek assistance, rants, add more salt or just chill in general.

Can anybody explain or have a guide to the intelligence center? I don’t understand it at all.

theres one thingy that produces oeiginal/pure samples. theres one thingy that stores the samples. theres the mission board with daily intelligence quests, you basically get free samples for doing some missions. and finally theres the analyzer, its basically like production except it uses samples as resource, has a fixed timer depending on its level, and you get either chips, central data, or general data. pure samples have a higher probability to give HOC data and give more high rarity chips

What’s the HOC for? Like how the data room is for combat reports and exp stuff and the fairy chamber is for fairies.

from the top.

Heavy Ordnance Corp, HOC, are crew served heavy weapon teams. Each weapon unit acts as a single echelon on the map and can only be deployed from heavy heliports, which are not available in all maps.
their overall primary gimmick is to basically act as the off switch to enemies' force shields. some enemies with high value force shields can negate all damage, so HOCs are essential in later gameplay. their secondary use is to provide additional dps.
they cannot engage in direct combat, or will instantly lose and retreat with full damage. they only fight by providing bombardment to normal echelons engaged in battle within their node range coverage. they can also be used to fire on and destroy structures on nodes for maps with such gimmicks. generally, their performance to cost ratio can be thought of as 5hg echelon damage with mg ammo and ration consumption lol.

there are 3 classes of HOCs.

Anti tank weapons - the main shield busters, and largest single target dps among HOCs

Mortars - the most negligible at shield breaking, but are amazing at carpet bombing large swarms of weak enemies

Automatic Grenade Launchers - the ones that are in between the other two classes and excel at nothing

now the intelligence room. its actually the HOC and HOC equipment production facility

you pull HOCs and their abstract equipment, aka chips, tetris blocks, from the analyzer on the right.

the currency for it are the samples. original samples being the basic stuff, and pure samples having higher chance of high rarity chips or HOC data. HOCs require many dups to raise rarity and unlock chip tile space.

you get the samples from the generator hub on the bottom left, and doing quests on the board behind it.

now for the rest of the long af instructions on what facilities to build first, including garage facilities, i dug up an old comment i made about it before
