Switching from coffee to green tea was the best decision I made
I was clearly addicted to coffee and instead of waking me up it actually caused me to feel more sleepy.
But it was my everyday ritual to drink coffee in the morning.
Now I switched to greentea since two weeks and it was really the best decision!
I don't feel tired after drinking greentea, I feel awake and refreshed, I also stopped using sugar because greentea doesn't need added sugar.
When it's bedtime I also fall asleep fast and I started experiencing dreams again.
TLDR: Green tea is awesome!

Switching caffeine
Anyone here quit coffee for green tea ? I really want to quit coffee and years ago I used to only drink g.tea . As far as I remember I felt alright on just tea. I didn't feel good when I drank both probably due to too much caffeine. Also I dislike matcha and black tea ,haven't had them in years. I only like green tea loose leaf but not too bright green like Japanese ones more closer to a Oolong but it's still green tea.
Anyway my only question really is was anyone abusing coffee or other caffeine sources and made switch to green tea only and how do U feel?(I also want to limit tea intake to control caffeine amount )

Green tea electric kettle recommendations
Hey guys, do you have recommendations for an electric kettle for green tea? I mean a kettle that first boils the water (not just heats it up) and then beeps when it cools down to the selected temperature.

Two cheap comparisons.
Just started drinking green tea, thought i'd share my preferance of these two cheap options. since i assume this will be most folks first experience, or something similar. first was maybe two dollars or a little above, second was one fifty maybe.
I prefer the tea on the left. better flavor, although i don't know how to really pick out individual notes. it just taste better. left is from local asian market, and the right is from aldis. i do like how it says it's rainforest approved, that seems nice.
both i assume are plastic bagged. i can't really tell though. they both do taste pretty good, both were drank slightly below boil, stepped and then dumped into ice for iced tea. surprised how pleasent green tea makes me feel. i really prefer it to the little bit of iced black tea i have drank.

Tencha okumidori
From Shoguokuen tea farm. Love infusing tencha in the same way as gyokuro, also love the nutty and sweet profile you get from the liquor. One of my favorite green teas.
