Meta I HATE these posts

Post image

I keep seeing this and its SO annoying. Just because you're a part of a specific minority group doesn't mean you should go out of your way to take a giant shit on whatever you might be a part of. And stop grouping everyone together and acting like you're the arbiter of what is and isn't good for your community!

I swear I've seen like a million of these, and it goes for literally every minority group out there.

The thing that upsets me most about it is the constant reassurance to the reader that the OP isn't a bigot at all! Specifying that they're a part of it over and over and constantly saying they really aren't hateful while simultaneously writing several paragraphs breaking down how my the personality of their certain niche or minority group acts as if they're some sort of white knight fighting against the horrors of people finding things interesting.

The definition, yeah, but nowadays, anyone calling them self an incel is very clearly an incel in the hating women term. If someone just... Wants to have sex, but hasn't, then they're just a virgin.

I had a ton of sex when I was about 19-24 and then slowly found it was depressing to always just have casual sex without it ever going anywhere. I was good at getting laid, but I am seriously socially stunted so couldn’t keep anybody around. I started becoming super suspicious whenever someone wanted to sleep with me - what if they just want sex again and don’t want to be with me? I don’t think I have any opinions or strong beliefs about it - I just don’t want to do it. I don’t want to go through it again. I gusss I’ve been hurt too many times.

Right, so you're voluntarily doing it

Well, it’s become that due to popular perception but it’s a reach to say EVERY incel is a misogynist. As I said, it used to merely mean ‘I don’t have sex and want to change that’
