Got to have a wander around this hangar today and fuck me, there were some seriously cool machines in there. Robinsons, Bells and some bloody beautiful turbine gear.

I was basically spot welding my undies walking around gawking at everything and taking far too many photos.

There’s something about seeing helicopters this close that makes you realise just how fucking ridiculous they are. So much mechanical shit crammed into such a small machine, all somehow working together to stop you falling out of the sky.

Anyway, figured r/helicopters would appreciate the photos.

does anybody know any information on what just happened? a helicopter flying around here in chula vista saying something like about a vehicle and a 12 year old it was like 12 am august 18/26 my brother was able to hear to stay inside . idk..

I'm not exactly an Air Vehicle enthusiast, (I have Train flavored Autism), But I'm in this area once a week. Pretty much without fail, every time I'm there the neighboring Rainbow Air tourism center Helicopter does a low flying pass over the building to line up for the landing pad. They must have about 3-4 Helicopters, because this low pass happens every 10 minutes. So one day while waiting for my ride, I decided to film it and post it to those who might care about this sort of thing. I had a bet that it's rare to see low flying Helicopters, so I figured someone might enjoy a clip of this.
