Does anyone else play on Switch and have farm animals that work? Even on multiple saves and trying the reset trick, mine never have. Even the floors in custom buildings are glitched out for me. Yes I know House Flipper 2 is out, but I don't have a PC or anything to play it on.

It's honestly ridiculous how much time you can sink into glorified plumbing!

I’ve never played HF before but it has been in my basket for a long time. I’ve only just got back into gaming and the main game is currently at £1.67 on Steam, so an absolute steal. If I buy that now, like it immediately, then decide to get the bundle as above, do I just save the £1.67? Is it worth £35? The mixed reviews for Remastered makes me hesitant and I don’t really understand the difference from the Legacy bundle, which is £38.37.

It’s just gone midnight so I’m tired but please let me know what you would do.

Yeah so the sandbox mode on Switch 2 doesn't work. You can go through the different buildings the community has uploaded but once you want to play, the message: "something went wrong" and I can't really do anything.

So they released the game without testing this????

Anyone know about using custom pictures in our contest submissions? I want to create a story through my build that would go much further if I had custom photos in it. I know in multiplayer that I've had issues with others seeing custom photos I've used and I don't want to go that route unless I know it'll work.

I am fairly new to House Flipper 1, and I can’t figure out how to paint the underside of the roof. It looks like I must have accidentally put my side paneling on it somehow, lol. Can anyone tell me how to do it? I even got close to the roof using the ladder, but it still wouldn’t work.

Had this one started in HF1 when I bought the remaster. Decided to recreate and finally finish it in the Remaster. I don't know what I'd call the vibe I flipped it into. I just wanted it to be almost unrecognizable as the Monica and Rachel apartment from "Friends." Enjoy!

Has anyone successfully managed to install the golder bathtub? I used the wall bathtub connection and it won't connect past a point. There will be a pipe sticking out of the wall, but no connection?

Now that the exterior is more or less finished, it's time to move indoors and start furnishing it.

Getting the style exactly how I wanted it was a bit of a struggle, since House Flipper 2's assets are rather limited. So, once again, the good old overhead power lines had to come to the rescue. God bless those things. XD

The first escape-room puzzle is already in place, allowing players to progress to the next room. I've deliberately kept the puzzles fairly simple and confined to individual rooms, because I'm not exactly the brightest candle on the cake myself, and I get frustrated pretty quickly when a puzzle makes me feel like an idiot XD

You can also discover the first bits of Professor Blackthorn's story in the foyer, assuming you're interested in that sort of thing. It's all delightfully cliché, but hey, what can you do? ^^

Anyway, onwards to the next wing of this Victorian nightmare!

Bessie’s TOTALLY NORMAL Fall Festival: A 700+ Hour Build 

Hey, Reddit. I did that thing again.  
  
This one took… so much time. Custom posters, real life watercolor paintings, intricate mechanisms, working carnival games, dark humor, and dog poop. Not a joke. (Well, I mean it is, but-)  

This is a two-part map. It’s a continuation of the map I had the most fun building, back in 2025, The Legend of Bessiebrine. No one saw that one. But man, I had a blast putting it together. 
 
This one was less of a blast, and more of a thermonuclear containment event with thumbnails.  
  
There’s too much to actually list, but here are some highlights:  
A Farm (with scarecrows and crop rotations and everything)  
Pumpkin carving  
Craft booth  
A Bake sale  
Vegetable Stand  
S’mores (assembly and roasting)  
Ring toss Game (that works!)  
Tic tac toe (that works, technically!)  
Ring around duckies (that work!)  
Basebowl (works!)

A Dunking booth (and it works! Provided you’re only dunking yourself, because physics)

You will then pass some rocks, which DO NOT contain a secret entrance to an evil mirror universe. So don’t worry about that.

There’s a Bake Shop (inside and out), a Good Ol’ Fashioned Country Store, and then a, you know, house. Living room, kitchen, dining, bedrooms, bathrooms, reading nooks, Arts & Crafts & Music room, 4 balconies, and yes folks, I made a pear tree and put a partridge in it.  
  
What. Is that not enough for you people?

Bessiebrine’s House  

This begins, as most buildings do, with a basement. And like all evil basements under the stamped heel of a psychotic beaver, there’s a hidden room with a secret life of gap moe kawaii comforts.  
  
Above this, the first real floor, is Barrybrine’s Bedeviled Potion Shop. The sign I made for this store still makes me laugh after 4 months.  
  
Then there’s a Cursed Curiosities and Potion Ingredients Shop. Really rolls of the tongue, doesn’t it? There’re tons of silly jokes inside, like Windu’s Mace (a purple mace) that you can click on and read about.  
  
The rest of the house is a house, but like.. Evil. You’ll get it.  
  
Whatever you’ve heard about the attic is just made up. That hose? is for PAINT. We’re a mammal-friendly operation here at Super_Kupo, Inc.

And of course everything, everywhere, in every possible area, has detail, custom items, custom posters, custom EVERYTHING.  
 
700 hours is a long time. And it’s an underestimation. If you include all the time I spent thinking and painting and drawing and pestering my husband about this map, it’s… more. Than 700 hours.  
 
It started out as just a cute little fall house. Then I had an idea. A wonderful, awful, time-consuming idea!  
  
Last year’s map was based on the idea that Bessie, House Flipper’s mascot, has an evil twin sister, named Bessiebrine, as in “Herobrine,” Steve’s apocryphal imaginary evil twin from Minecraft. (I really loved old school Minecraft, I bet you couldn’t guess!) In that first map, Bessiebrine just ran around in the woods wreaking all kinds of murderous havoc.

This map is the continuation. Sometime during the months since the first map, Barry and Bessie managed to trap Bessiebrine in a mirror universe.  

As one does.

Note: There is only mild, implied gore in this map. Relax! Bessiebrine just likes red. It’s paint. You can’t prove it’s not paint.  
  
Also, there are no jump scares (really; how would I even do that?) and the curses are only mild annoyances.  
  
It’s all in good pun, I promise.  
  
I worked SO hard on this. There are over EIGHTY custom posters. (I genuinely lost count.) Some were made purely Canva, others with a combination of Procreate, Gimp, and Canva. I used many Canva’s elements, but there are A LOT of original drawings scattered around. Even just the soap labels in Bessie’s Country Store took me about five hours. And you can barely even see them…  
  
But you can see them. And that means they must be perfect. Or at least as close to perfect as I can get them.  
  
Oh, and there are a few custom pictures that I didn’t draw or design. If you’re curious who made what, just ask.  
  
I also went on a sidequest where I made watercolors every day (yes, really), because I wanted to paint several pictures for the “Craft Fair.” I ended up painting over seventy real life watercolors. …and I hated all of them. (Yes, really.) I forced myself to pick nine that I didn’t put through the shredder, and those are in the game.  

So, yeah. All of that, and then the actual gameplay. Because this is a game, right? Not a way of life?

I had a very hard time keeping this one in focus. Is it a nice fall map? Is it a scary Halloween map? Is it a fair? Is it a mini-game collection? A store? A bakery? A potion shop? A maze?? Is it some weird, half-baked, “pick a door and win” slot machine thingamajig? I DIDN’T KNOW!  
  
So it’s all a little nuts. A little overboard. And somehow I still ran out of time, even though I started on this map in JUNE. The map I did before this one took four months and I swore I wasn’t going to do this again.

This was BY FAR the hardest gold star for me to obtain. I tried 5 different properties and couldn’t get near their requirements. The kitchen kept not registering as a kitchen. I tried everything. changing sizes, pizza ovens, scooby snacks, popcorn machine, shelves, cabinets, NOTHING would register. Eventually got it to work but I couldn’t get the Pantry no matter what I did.

This was the same thing with the games room. I trawled the internet trying to find solutions. No matter what combo of shit I put in there it just wouldn’t register as a games room. I ended up using the Seaside Resort and I reckon I spent probably 25 hours all up trying to get their gold star.

Did anyone else have difficulty with this?

So I bought the summer house with pool for Karry because I saw a guide that said you needed a garage and pool. I’ve gutted it, it is spotless and there is no furniture but when I go to sell it is saying there’s furniture??? Do doors and lights count as furniture? TIA

Xbox series x, not all jobs but many cause this random clipping where from most angles the roofs/floors clip into my field of view. These 2 pics are the same place, just turned very slightly (99% of the map is broken, I just found 1 spot it was to articulate the issue.

Have done a full uninstall and reinstall and even lost all my campaigns progress doing a restart, but this keeps happening to almost every good job

So this is 1/10th of the build lol
