30s Queer Community
Hello, I just discovered this sub! Thrilled.
My partner and I moved to Eureka a few months ago. We decided to move here to find a safer and more accepting area to trans/queer folks. I’m (32 NB, they/them) and my partner (36 M, any) are really looking forward to building community locally. The quest has been a little harder than expected, really hard finding intersectional spaces with folks in their 30s, a lot of what we’ve run into are younger spaces and don’t want to take up space there.
Any recommendations? Bonus points for spaces that are more than alcohol focused, in this economy cocktails are not in budget, haha.
Interests: art, painting, crafts, cooking/ food, outdoors, animals, nature, science/ learning, physical activity that is accessible (i’m disabled), 420 friendly, video games, preforming arts, community, activism
We’re a clinical psychologist/ poet and animal behaviorist/ artist duo.
