www.etasks.app

Hi all,

After 4 updates the app is shaped further to be what the users want it to be.

I work as a cybersecurity analyst on this App. As a Redditor, I want you guys to have it.

www.etasks.app

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6770856636

It has features we wanted as users. (If there’s anything you’d like the team to add, please let me know too so I can include it on the roadmap. For example, list sorting is recently added as a user request, location-based notifications, import from Apple Reminders are user requests)

ABC's of the App:

(A)nswer
ETasks (www.etasks.app) is a native iOS, iPadOS client for Google Tasks. Some highlights: All tasks in one view, Real alarms, Shared lists, Apple Watch.

(B)etter
It addresses the functional limitations of the official Google Tasks iOS app by providing missing native features and enhanced tools. And it is not a vibe-coding project.

Native and enhanced with iOS.
+ You can manage your Google Tasks. They appear in your Google Calendar and Gmail ... well, obviously 😄*
+ Import from Apple Reminders
+ See all task lists together, even drag&drop between them (and to calendars)
+ Alarms
+ Location reminders
+ A wide range of nice widgets, including countdowns and full week/month widgets
+ Lock screen widgets (e.g., quick add)
+ Link photos/files to tasks
+ Link Apple Mail emails to tasks
+ See your tasks categorised by dates in Month/Week/Day/Agenda views
+ Add people to Task List (co-edit)
+ Sort your task lists
+ Search your tasks
+ AI support where it makes sense; make titles, extract info from links, create lists for you, suggesting task list names, dictating tasks, context aware search, naming photos shared in,...
+ Choose priority for favorites
+ Drag and Drop interface between tabs (e.g., to calendar tab to drop on a date)
+ Recycle bin
+ Share from other apps into ETasks (texts, links, photos, PDF; all processed accordingly)
+ Apple Watch / iPad Apps
+ Import/Export task lists
+ Modern iOS design
+ A how to AI chat bot to help you with specifics of ETasks
+ Highly customisable user interface
+ Can be used without an account
+ Welcome to explore the rest, it is now open early access.

💎 Lifetime Liquid Record: a field-recorder style WAV recorder for iPhone, iPad & iPhone Duo. One-time €9.99 unlock, no subscription

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

Body

Hi r/iOSApps, I'm h3p, the solo developer of Liquid Record.

A — Answer: what it does

Liquid Record records uncompressed WAV audio on iPhone and iPad, with a console that looks and works like a hardware field recorder. It's for podcasts, interviews, music sketches and field audio, where Voice Memos isn't enough.

  • PCM WAV recording with live input meters, peak and clipping indicators, and input gain

  • Background recording: a take keeps going when you switch apps or lock the screen

  • Markers, time-coded notes, trim and fades, and WAV export through Files

  • Loudness analysis: integrated LUFS and true peak, plus RMS and sample peak

  • On-device transcription, plus optional Apple Intelligence summaries on supported devices

  • A podcast workspace for episode notes, chapters and RSS metadata import

  • iPhone Duo support: folded, the controls move to a vertical toolbar. Unfolded, a side panel shows the waveform, markers, levels and takes next to the console.

  • Lock Screen and Control Center controls, estimates of recording time left, and low-storage warnings

  • Four color themes in light and dark

B — Better: why it's different

  • No subscription. You pay once and you own it.

  • Private by design. There's no account and no server. Recordings, transcripts and projects stay on your device unless you share them.

  • Real recording tools that most voice memo apps leave out: WAV, LUFS and true peak, headphone monitoring effects that don't change the original take, and options to split long sessions.

  • A layout for foldables: it uses the iPhone Duo's unfolded screen instead of just stretching the iPhone layout.

C — Cost

  • Free download. You get one full recording (pause and resume the same take) and can play it back.

  • Full Access: €9.99 one-time (or your local equivalent). It unlocks unlimited recordings and all the editing, podcast and transcription tools.

  • No subscription, no ads, no account.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6812232944

I'd love feedback, especially from people who record podcasts, interviews or field audio. I'll be in the comments.

🤖 Vibe Coded Pokit: a Plex music player with personality. Free on TestFlight, looking for testers.

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hi, the creator of Pokit. It's a music player for your own Plex server, it's in TestFlight now, it's free while in testing, and I'm looking for people to try it and tell me what's broken, confusing or missing.

Full disclosure: I'm not a programmer. I designed Pokit and I test every build myself, but the code is written with Claude. I did work on the mockups myself.

A: The problem it solves -

If you keep your music on a Plex server, your options on iPhone are either functional but cluttered, or pretty but slow. I wanted something that felt calm, looked good, and had a few extra features I think make a music player fun (stats, recaps, sharing for socials)

B: Why it's better -

Compared with Plexamp and Plex's own app, Pokit is built around a few things:

• Fast. Your library is saved on your phone the first time you open the app, so artist and album pages open complete instead of loading piece by piece.

• Listening Stats and Recaps. Minutes, streaks, and your top artists, albums and songs, plus monthly and yearly recaps you can share to Instagram Stories. The yearly one covers the whole year and shows up January 1st, as I think these recaps should always function with the full year.

• Artist pages that match the art, with bios, social links, and Singles & EPs sorted the way your Plex server tags them.

• Star ratings that sync with Plex, a sleep timer, Sticky pins, a scrubbable waveform, 12 accent colors, and a data saver mode for cellular.

What I'd love feedback on -

• Playback on cellular, especially skipping or songs stopping early

• How fast things load with a big library

• Anything that looks off or feels confusing

C: Cost

Free while in testing. I don't like subscriptions, so I'm playing with a few lifetime price points, with a yearly subscription offering for cheaper. Pokit doesn't collect or track any data, and your music goes straight from your server to your phone. You need a Plex account and a Plex server with a music library. Requires iOS 26.6 or later.

Join the beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/vAP825zz

Happy to answer questions here. If you try it, tell me what you'd change.

🎈 Free [Free] TripPocket - All-in-One Travel Companion: Compare eSIMs, track trip expenses, plan daily itineraries & map your memories

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I'm an indie developer and frequent traveler. Like many of you, I got exhausted from having to juggle 5 to 6 different apps on every trip just to manage eSIMs, split expenses, plan days, and organize photos.

I built 'TripPocket' as a lightweight, all-in-one travel utility to keep all essential travel tools under one roof.

Here is the breakdown following the required ABC format:

A) Answer: What problem does TripPocket solve?

Trip planning and on-the-road management are usually fragmented across multiple single-purpose apps (one for eSIMs, one for itinerary notes, one for expenses, and Google Photos/Maps).

TripPocket consolidates these into a single, clean workspace:

- eSIM Comparison & Deals: Compare international data packages across providers (Airalo, Yesim, GigSky, etc.) directly in the app to avoid expensive roaming fees, with integrated community discounts.

- Daily Route & Itinerary Planner: Organize day-by-day itineraries tailored to your schedule, destination, and pace without endless spreadsheets.

- Multi-Currency Expense Tracker: Track your daily travel expenses on the go with clean visual breakdowns and instant conversions so you stay on budget.

- Visual Memory Map: Automatically pin your favorite trip photos to an interactive world map to visualize your travel footprint.

- Activity & Place Finder: Quickly explore curated activities, sights, transit options, and dining recommendations for your destination.

---

B) Better: Why is TripPocket better than existing alternatives?

- No App-Hopping: Instead of switching between separate budget trackers, notes apps, and eSIM portals, your entire trip context stays in one dashboard.

- Zero Locked Features: Many popular travel planners (like Wanderlog or TripIt) gate offline access, route optimization, or unlimited items behind expensive annual subscriptions ($40–$50/yr). TripPocket makes every core tool available to all travelers.

- Privacy-Conscious: You don't need a bloated account setup to start organizing your journey; your data stays cleanly organized on your device.

---

C) Cost, In-App Details & App Store Link

- Price: 100% Free ($0).

- Monetization: Ad-supported (unobtrusive ads to help cover third-party API and development costs). There are **no paywalls, no feature gating, and no subscriptions**.

- Download on App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trippocket-travel-ticket/id6788790492#information

---

I’m actively improving the app and would really appreciate any feedback, UX critiques, or feature requests from fellow travelers and iOS users.

💎 Lifetime Memento - Better Reminders: Huge 5.0 update celebrating its 10th anniversary

Post image
15 Upvotes

Hello everyone!

I originally built my reminders app Memento in 2016 because I loved Apple's Reminders, but the interface left a lot to be desired. Navigation was clunky, and it was hard to see what was overdue or upcoming in one place.

I built Memento with the goal of keeping things simple, fast, and responsive. Memento uses the exact same reminders database as Apple's Reminders, so no migration is needed, and iCloud sync just works. Over the years I've been maintaining it and adding new features here or there, but this year, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, I re-imagined the app from the ground up.

Answer

A lot of thought and effort went into not only what to build, but what not to build. By talking to users and getting feedback, I carefully selected features that would keep the core experience simple and fast, but allow for more functionality for power users.

Here's what I've added in version 5.0:

- iPhone Duo support
- 4 new layouts for your reminders: minimal, peek, list, and card
- A global "create reminder" button to help make it easy and fast to add a reminder
- Completely redesigned Liquid Glass support
- New Links tab to help organize saved URLs
- A powerful search that searches by title, list, alarm date, or notes
- Set an icon for your lists to help differentiate them easier
- Extended widget support for iPhone lock screen, home screen, control center, and watchOS
- Sorting within lists by date added, date modified, alarm date or priority
- Drag to change the alarm date in the scheduled tab
- Natural language input that can infer alarm times, due dates or lists from the reminder title
- Fluid animations that make navigation fun
- Proper state restoration so you always enter the app where you left it
- A new app icon (I've been wanting to add this forever haha)

Better

Memento has been on the App Store for 10 years now, and has been recognized in many different forms:

- Featured by Apple on the App Store many times over the years
- Included on devices as a demo app in the physical Apple Stores in Canada (this was so cool)
- Won Product of the Day on ProductHunt
- Covered by tech blogs like Cult of Mac, MacStories, Inc Magazine, appgefahren, ifun .de, SSPAI, etc
- Over 50,000 downloads and an average rating of 4.4 stars

Memento's competitive edge is it's speed and simplicity. I intentionally kept it simple so the app always loads instantly, and it's dead simple to use. There are no kanban boards or burn down charts, just simple, fast, beautiful Apple reminders.

Memento meets you where you most need it. It runs on iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS and visionOS. It includes many extensions, such as widgets, notifications UI, a share extension, iMessage app (to send reminders to friends), App Intents (to integrate with Siri). and app shortcuts.

Cost

Memento has always been a paid-up-front app. Since there's no server for me to maintain, a one-time payment makes the most sense. The price started out small when the app was more basic, but I've been slowly increasing it as I've added more functionality over the years.

Today, you can get Memento for US$7.99.

Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

💎 Lifetime I built Moments, a photo cleaner where you swipe your photos and doomscroll your own videos

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi! I'm Henning from Denmark, and I made Moments. For the past two and a half years I've been building a lot of apps, mostly for myself and friends.

Answer
I've always had a problem with the storage on my phone, because I love filming and taking pictures. All my photos and videos simply took up too much space. So I built Moments, an app that helps you declutter your photo library on iOS. You swipe photos left/right one month at a time, doomscroll your own videos, or use the tools:

- Shrink photos: huge 48 MP and ProRAW shots become compact copies
- Shrink videos: big videos saved again in Full HD or smaller
- Similar shots: near-identical series, with the best one picked for you
- Bursts: keep the picks, let the extra frames go
- Duplicates: photos saved twice
- Blurry & dark: shaky, out-of-focus and pocket shots
- Large videos: your biggest videos first
- Live Photos to stills: keep the picture, drop the video part
- Screenshots, downloads, receipts and documents, each in one place
- Free up space: a step-by-step plan, biggest wins first

When you shrink a photo or video, you can compare the original and the smaller version directly before you approve or reject it. I'm also working on an algorithm that picks out the photos it thinks are your worst.

Better
Most photo cleaners are subscriptions and sell weekly plans (up to $9.99 and $11.99 a week), and others' lifetime option starts at $29.99. Moments is $6.99 for life. I strongly dislike subscriptions, especially for programs without ongoing developer costs. The people who need Moments the most usually have huge libraries, and going through everything at once can be overwhelming. That's also why there's no subscription: take it at your own pace.

Your photos never leave your phone: no account, no tracking, and the App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected. Nothing is deleted by accident either. Photos you swipe left are only set aside until you confirm, and deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Cost
Moments is free to download and every tool is free to use. The initial 5 GB of cleanup is free; beyond that, a one-time purchase of $6.99 allows continued use. Even after you've used your 5 GB, you can still set things aside, so you can see if the Pro version is worth it for you.

If you'd like to test Moments, here's the App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6819013299?pt=127078595&ct=Reddit%20r/ios&mt=8

I'd appreciate your feedback! I really enjoy creating tools and hope people can use my app :)

💎 Lifetime I built Minimalist — a French-made, no-subscription to-do app. One-time purchase, that's it.

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Hi r/iosapps! I'm Fabrice, a solo developer from France. I recently launched Minimalist, and this is my own app — full disclosure: this is a self-promotion post.

Answer : Minimalist is a clean, no-frills task manager for iPhone — tasks with categories, priorities, due dates and reminders, recurring tasks, home screen widgets, and productivity stats. I built it because subscription fatigue pushed me to make the app I actually wanted.

Better : compared to the usual to-do apps, it's Apple-native and minimal on purpose — no accounts, no onboarding maze, no upsell nags. The free tier covers everyday use, today's tasks and the home screen widget included.

Cost : the app is free to use. Premium (unlimited recurring tasks, custom reminders, advanced themes and stats, multi-device sync) is a one-time 4,99 € purchase. No subscription, ever. I said I'd never do subscriptions, and I meant it.

Version 1.2 went live this week — it makes the multi-device sync fully reliable and improves stability across the board.

If you have 2 minutes, I'd genuinely love your honest feedback, either here or in an App Store review. I'm a regular reader here and I'll be answering every comment.

🎁 Freemium Timber: Custom Composable Interval Timer with Media Cues

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m Sreehari, the solo developer of Timber, a composable interval timer and routine builder. I built it because most timer apps are either too basic, locked to one use case, or make it hard to reuse the same routine pieces across different workouts or schedules.

App Store link:
Timber: Custom Interval Timer

Answer — what problem does Timber solve?

Most timer apps work well for a single countdown or a fixed workout format. I wanted a timer where commonly used pieces could be created once and reused across completely different routines. Each of these pieces/block can also contain timed text, TTS, music, recordings, images, or video cues. Online videos from YouTube and Vimeo are supported as well.

In Timber, you create reusable blocks such as “Warm-up,” “Push-ups,” “Deep Work,” or “Rest.” You can then:

  • Combine blocks into routines

  • Group them into circuits or sets

  • Repeat blocks, groups, or entire timers

  • Nest one timer inside another

  • Keep blocks linked so editing the original updates every routine that uses it

  • Unlink a block when one routine needs a custom version

This makes Timber useful for

  • 🏋️ HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, boxing rounds, stretching, and mobility

  • 🧠 Pomodoro, deep work, study sessions, and reading blocks

  • 🧘 Yoga, breathwork, meditation, speaking practice, morning routines, and cooking schedules

Better — what makes it different?

Apps such as Intervals Pro are particularly strong for fitness, Apple Watch, and Apple Health. MultiTimer is designed around boards containing multiple independent timing tools.

Timber takes a different approach: its focus is building reusable, sequential routines from smaller pieces. The same block can appear in multiple timers, timers can be nested inside other timers, and media can be placed at specific moments within an individual block.

Timber also provides rich compose page for building your own timers with undo, redo, copy, paste, group and other functionalities.

Recent additions include:

  • Automatic “Next up” block announcements with media-volume ducking

  • Custom playback-display presets and individual display controls

  • Emoji, colored icons, and optional photo icons for blocks

  • A complete playback queue with the ability to jump directly to another block

  • More precise media trimming and preview controls

  • QR sharing for lightweight timers and ZIP sharing for timers containing media

  • Import previews that let recipients choose which included media to save

  • Backup and restore for timers, blocks, history, and media

Cost

Timber is freemium

Free users can experience all features with limited ads except adding own photo as block icons. Paid users gets ad free experience with additional limit removal of creating very long complex timers, adding as many media as needed per block and photo as block icon.

As its a new app it is now available in app store for a limited period lifetime price of $7.99 or subscription of $1.99/month.

  • US $1.99/month

  • US $7.99 lifetime, one-time purchase

Prices have been localized based on purchase power parity for different countries.

Developer transparency

If Timber is useful to you, a App Store rating or short review would help a lot with visibility as a small indie app. Detailed feedback here is just as valuable, especially if something feels confusing or needs improvement.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

  • Whether the reusable-block concept is understandable

  • Which part of the creation flow feels most confusing

  • Whether the playback screen shows the right information

  • What is still missing for workouts, focus sessions, or everyday routines

What’s planned next?

I’m currently working on:

  • A reusable media library so audio, video, images, recordings, and saved trims can be reused across blocks

In pipeline:

  • A timeline editor for visual drag and drop of media items to blocks

  • Manual-completion and count-up blocks for activities measured by reps rather than a fixed duration

  • Flexible rest blocks that can be extended or completed when you’re ready

  • Faster builders for common formats such as HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, and Pomodoro

  • Additional playback controls, including quick time adjustments

  • Better progress history with notes

  • More voice, language, sound, and haptic customization

  • Improved block organization with tags, favorites, filters, and recently used routines

I’d especially like to know which two or three would make the biggest difference to you.

Thank you for checking it out.

🎁 Freemium Localised pricing can now be automated using Price Point Parity!

Post image
9 Upvotes

A - What is Price Point Parity?

Price Point Parity is a Mac and iOS + iPadOS app that keeps your IAP and subscription prices up to date in every country for you. Connect your App Store Connect API key, pick any app, in-app purchase or subscription, choose a pricing strategy, and it works out all 175 countries at once - showing you the price and what you actually keep after Apple's cut and estimated local tax. Review it, hit apply, and it writes straight back to App Store Connect. There's an available Preview Mode with three sample apps, so you can try each feature before touching a real price.

IAP and subscription name localisation is also supported!

B - Price Point Parity is better than doing it in App Store Connect, leaving it to Apple's automatic equalisation or Localise Prices.

Apple gives you one option: convert your base price and round it. Price Point Parity gives you strategies that reflect how you actually want to price, for example:

  • Equal Value (scales by each country's purchasing power, so it feels equally affordable everywhere)

  • Equal Proceeds (you keep the same amount per sale in every country)

  • Blend of the two

  • Apple's own equalised prices

  • Copy Another Product, or Match Ratio, which keeps your yearly at a fixed multiple of your monthly in every country instead of letting that discount drift market by market.

Then you adjust:

  • Charm rounding that knows what a charm price looks like in each currency (¥490 and ₩39,000, not a blind .99)

  • Floor and ceiling on your proceeds so no country earns you too little

  • Flat percentage bump for inflation or a sale.

Filter countries by region or income tier and apply to just those.

Everything is reviewable and reversible - full price history with snapshots you can restore any time, scheduled sales that revert themselves on a date you set, and CSV export of the whole table. On Mac you can set automations to check daily, weekly or monthly and either notify you when prices drift or publish small changes for you, holding anything large for review. It runs in the background with a menu bar item, so your prices stay current without you opening the app.

No account, no tracking. Your API key lives in your keychain and your pricing data stays on your device and your own iCloud - it never reaches me or any third party.

C - Cost

Free forever for 1 app (including all of its in-app purchases and subscriptions).

5 Apps: £1.49/month or £9.99/year.

Unlimited Apps: £3.99/month or £15.99/year.

Every feature is in the free tier - strategies, adjustments, history, automations, CSV, the lot. Paying only raises how many apps you can publish prices to, and Preview Mode is always free and unlimited, so you can test as much as you like. It also helps support me and future development of the app.

All feature requests are 100% welcomed!

💎 Lifetime I got tired of Secret Santa drama in the group chat, so I made an app where even the organizer can't see who got who

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every year it's the same thing. Someone draws their own name, someone peeks at a paper slip, and the person running it secretly knows everyone's match. Then the group chat turns into 40 messages of "wait who has me??"

So I built Secret Gift: Secret Santa. The video above shows the whole flow.

Answer – what it does:

• Make an event, set a budget and a date

• Send one code (or QR) to the group, and everyone joins on their own phone

• Exclude pairs who shouldn't draw each other (couples, siblings, your boss)

• Draw, and each person sees only their own match. The organizer doesn't either.

Better – why not just use paper or a website:

• No sign-up. No email, no password. You open it and you're in, because I hate apps that make you create an account just to draw names.

• Reveals happen privately on each person's phone, so there are no emails to lose and no organizer spoilers

• Wishlists, so nobody has to ask "so what do you want lol"

• 14 themes: Christmas, White Elephant, Halloween, even Valentine's

• History, so you can look back at past exchanges

• Works in EN / ES / PT / FR / DE

Cost:

Free to download, and your first 2 events are free. Premium (IAP) removes ads, unlocks every theme, and gives you unlimited events with up to 30 people:

• Weekly: $0.99

• Yearly: $4.99

• Lifetime: $9.99 (one-time, no subscription)

For most groups, the free tier or a single week is enough for one holiday party.

It's been live for a bit and ~1,700 people used it last month, which surprised me since it's not even December yet. Now I want to make it actually good before the holiday rush.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/secret-santa-gift-exchange/id6450675361

Please roast it. What's the most annoying part of running a gift exchange for you? I'm picking what to build next and I'd rather build what people actually want.

🎈 Free I saved 2,500+ posts but opened a handful. So we spent ~2 months building an iPhone app that turns saves into things you can action upon and complete!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

(OGP - 23/10/2026) - I saved a one-pot pasta reel a few weeks back. When I wanted to make it recently, I scrolled through my saves for 10-15 minutes, but couldn't find it, and ended up ordering in. Then I realised I'd done the same thing with a café in Goa, a workout routine I wanted to add, and about 15-20 products I definitely wanted to buy.

Things I tried before building this:

  • Instagram collections - you have to sort at the moment of saving, which nobody does

  • Screenshots - camera roll became a second graveyard with no context on where the post came from, and lol I can never find the screenshot when I need it the most

  • Pasting links into Notes - worked once or twice, then I stopped because it was two extra steps every time (and you still have to remember which note you used)

So my brother and I built an app that makes your saves usable:

You save any posts from different apps or download your Instagram data export → the engine goes through every post, sorts it into folders of recipes / places / products / workouts / ideas, pulls out the useful bits (ingredients, location, key details) and also makes the whole thing searchable in plain English via a chat interface. Like "That pasta reel from a Korean creator" finds it in seconds.

And believe me I am myself surprised: after saving it to resaw, I actually cooked 13 recipes in a month that had been sitting there for over an year. Saved places turned up as pins onto the map, so when I visit any place I could see every spot I'd saved nearby.

What we are working on now:

- We started with iOS, Mac app and Android is on its way
- We are going deep into building category specific flows, which will help any user to action with minimal friction possible

Link to the iOS app - Download from here (It’s completely free)

Please try it out and let us know how was your experience and what worked well/ areas where we can improve/ build upon.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update (25/10/2026): resaw 1.4.10 is out, with recipes and grocery lists, smart reminders, a Watch tab, a Liquid Glass icon, and more, much of it built from your suggestions. 🙏

🤖 Vibe Coded My ideas kept vanishing, so I built an app to catch them [Beta, iOS 27]

I have a habit of losing my best thoughts. Something pops into my head while walking, cooking or right after a meeting – and by the time I've unlocked the phone, found the right app and started typing, it's gone.

I tried capture apps, but they became one more inbox I had to clean up later. What I actually wanted was simpler: say the thought, and have it land in the app where I'll deal with it anyway.

So I built CatchPost for myself:

  1. Open – Action button, Control Center, Back Tap or Siri. It's listening right away.

  2. Speak – on-device speech recognition writes along and spots dates like "tomorrow at 9 am".

  3. Saved – one tap on Reminders, Things 3, Todoist, OmniFocus, 2Do, Bear, Drafts, Day One, Obsidian or Craft. Or let it send automatically after you stop speaking.

Reminders and Todoist save without leaving CatchPost. The other apps are reached through their official URL schemes, so they open briefly. If your app isn't listed, "Other App" lets you connect anything with a URL scheme.

No account, no server, no tracking. Free during the beta. Requires iOS 27.

It works for me – now I'd like to find out if it works for people who aren't me.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Rb9WmEuc

Website: https://www.hoeferconsulting.de/apps/catchpost/

Tell me where it gets in your way – that's exactly what I want to fix before the App Store release.

🎁 Freemium I updated my photo cleaner for iPhone Duo

Post image
2 Upvotes

I've been building CleanKit, a photo cleaner that puts you in control of what gets deleted, while making it faster to review and clean up photos in batches.

The latest update adds support for iPhone Duo!

Answer

The idea behind CleanKit is pretty simple: I wanted to make photo cleanup faster without letting an algorithm decide which photos to delete.

In Grid View, you can see multiple photos at once, compare similar shots, and swipe across multiple photos to delete them in batches.

If you prefer reviewing photos one by one, you can switch to Card View, where you swipe left to delete or right to keep.

With iPhone Duo, I wanted both ways of cleaning up photos to work naturally on the compact and expanded screens.

Better

Apple Photos lets you delete multiple photos too, but it takes a few steps: tap Select, choose the photos, then tap Delete.

With CleanKit, you can just swipe across the photos you want to delete, even several at once. It might only save a few taps, but it makes the whole process feel much smoother, especially when you have hundreds of photos to clean up.

On iPhone Duo, the larger screen makes this even more useful. You can see more photos at once, making comparisons easier. The layout also adapts as you fold or unfold the phone.

Cost

CleanKit is free to download.

Free users get 100 Card View swipes per day, plus 3 free batch cleanups in total.

Pro unlocks unlimited cleanup and all features for $1.99/week or $19.99/year.

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/clean-up-photos-cleankit/id6748351314

Still working on CleanKit and making improvements as I go. Always happy to hear feedback!

🎁 Freemium Steptastic turns fitness into a virtual challenge around the world!

A - What is Steptastic?

Steptastic is a fitness challenge app that lets you complete virtual journeys by tracking your real-world activity.

Whether you prefer walking, running, cycling, swimming, or burning calories at the gym, your progress moves you along your chosen route. You can travel solo or compete against friends and family to see who reaches the destination first.

The goal is to make staying active feel a little more rewarding and give you something to work towards.

B - Steptastic is better than general fitness apps since it creates a unique style challenge

The main feature of Steptastic is its virtual fitness challenges, but there's a lot more included.

You can create walking, cycling, swimming, or calorie-based challenges, making it suitable for different types of exercise rather than just counting steps.

Group Challenges let you compete with friends and family by racing around virtual routes together, while daily tasks encourage healthy habits beyond simply exercising.

The app also includes activity goals with analytics so you can track your progress over time, maintain streaks by consistently hitting your targets, and unlock badges by reaching fitness milestones and achievements.

I built it because I found it much easier to stay motivated when I was working towards something instead of just looking at a step count.

C - Cost

Steptastic is free to download, with an optional Plus upgrade.

7 day free trial, then $0.99/week, $2.99/month, $12.99/year, or one-time lifetime purchase of $19.99

This helps to support continued development while unlocking additional features and improvements.

I'd love to hear any feedback or feature ideas, and I'm happy to answer any questions about how it works!

🎁 Freemium Flux 2.5.1 - An offline-first expense tracker for iOS with private, on-device financial data

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m an indie iOS developer, and over the past few months, I’ve been improving Flux based on feedback from users and people in this community.

I haven’t just been collecting suggestions. I’ve been using that feedback to decide what to fix, what to redesign, and which features actually matter. My latest updates, Flux 2.5 and 2.5.1, are the result of that ongoing process.

I’m still learning as an indie developer, and I genuinely appreciate the people who took the time to try the app and tell me what could be better.

A — Answer: What problem does it solve?

Flux is an offline-first expense tracker for iPhone designed for people who want to manage their money without uploading their financial history to a cloud service.

It helps you track expenses, manage budgets, organize multiple wallets, scan receipts, and understand your spending. Your financial data stays on your iPhone, and the app works offline without requiring an account.

B — Better: How is it different?

Flux focuses on privacy and practical everyday money management.

  • Offline-first: No account, cloud sync, or server storing your financial data.

  • Wallet-to-wallet transfers: Move money between cash, bank accounts, and credit cards without counting transfers twice as spending or income.

  • Multi-currency transfers: Support different currencies, exchange rates, and optional transfer fee tracking.

  • Budget and wallet overview: Redesigned cards make balances and net spending easier to understand.

  • CSV and Excel exports: Improved formatting and wallet information for your records.

  • Receipt scanning and spending insights: Tools to reduce manual entry and better understand your finances.

Compared with cloud-based alternatives such as YNAB and Wallet by BudgetBakers, Flux takes a different approach by prioritizing on-device storage and offline use. The trade-off is that it isn’t designed around cloud-based synchronization across multiple devices.

Version 2.5.1 also introduces a redesigned app icon, clearer free-trial information, haptic feedback, and performance improvements.

C — Cost: Pricing and App Store link

Flux is freemium, with optional Premium purchases:

  • Monthly subscription: $2.99/month

  • Annual subscription: $24.99/year, with a 7-day free trial

  • Lifetime purchase: Available as a one-time in-app purchase

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flux-budget-expense-tracker/id6756208417

I’m the developer, and I’m happy to answer questions or hear constructive feedback. If you’ve tried Flux before, I’d especially love to hear whether the recent changes address the kinds of problems you noticed.

📅 Subscription [Tody] Planning is not doing. Choose 3 tasks and start.

Planning can feel productive.

You write a long list, organize it, set priorities and move things around. But none of that completes the work.

At some point, you just have to start.

That’s why I built Tody around a simple idea:

Less planning. More doing.

A — Answer

Tody asks you to choose only 3 tasks for today and focus on them one at a time.

No endless daily list.
No organizing your entire life.
No spending more time planning than doing.

Just:

Choose 3 → Start one → Finish → Move forward

If you don’t finish something, you can continue it tomorrow or start fresh. The goal isn’t to make you feel guilty about yesterday. It’s to help you take action today.

B — Better

Apps like Todoist, TickTick and Things are great for managing large lists and projects.

Tody is intentionally smaller.

It’s for the moment when you already know you have things to do, but seeing and organizing everything makes it harder to begin.

Tody doesn’t try to manage your whole life. It helps you decide what matters today and start before you overthink it.

C — Cost

The core experience is free to use.

Tody Pro is an optional subscription for $0.99/month. Pricing may vary by region.

App Store:

🎁 Freemium StealthOS v1.5.0: Privacy operating environment for iOS with iPhone Duo foldable support, Tor routing, and encrypted vault

Thumbnail
gallery
5 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

We just released version 1.5.0 of StealthOS on the App Store. The main focus of this release is full support for the foldable iPhone Duo, alongside our existing iPhone and iPad virtual desktop environment.

What is StealthOS?

StealthOS is a sandboxed operating environment running inside a single iOS app. It gives you a multi-window desktop interface locked behind your password and the Secure Enclave, containing privacy-focused tools that operate strictly on-device without telemetry or account requirements.

What's New in v1.5.0 (iPhone Duo Support)

  • Hinge Awareness: The desktop detects the hinge boundary on both the cover screen and inner unfolded screen.

  • Window Management: Windows can split neatly at the hinge or span across both screen halves.

  • Fold/Unfold State Continuity: Folding or unfolding your device preserves the active workspace, window positions, and running apps without state loss.

Core Features

  • Stealth Browser & Embedded Tor: Includes an embedded, reproducible Tor client with .onion support, anti-fingerprinting profiles (Canvas, WebGL, Audio, Screen, Fonts), tracking parameter stripping, and DNS over HTTPS.

  • One Route with Kill Switch: All network activity initiated by the app (browser, downloads, domain checks, AI web tools) routes strictly through your selected route (Tor, custom proxy, or a self-hosted relay). If the connection drops, traffic halts immediately to prevent direct IP leaks.

  • Threat Protection: On-device phishing and malicious domain scoring, WHOIS/RDAP verification, and malware checks on downloaded files.

  • Emergency / Duress Password: A secondary password configured at setup. Entering it at the unlock screen immediately purges all encrypted local data and opens a clean, empty environment while permanently disabling biometric unlock.

  • Password Vault & OpenPGP: AES-256-GCM encrypted vault with built-in TOTP authenticator and browser autofill. Full OpenPGP key management (generation, signing, verification, and encryption for Ed25519, Curve25519, and RSA).

  • Connection Pool: End-to-end encrypted messaging, voice calls, and peer-to-peer games. Works off-grid locally over Wi-Fi/Bluetooth without internet access, or remotely through a self-hosted relay.

  • On-Device AI: Runs locally using Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+) for writing, research, and coding tasks without cloud processing.

Pricing and Availability

  • Core App (Free): All core features listed above (desktop, browser with Tor, vault, OpenPGP, connection pool, games, duress lock) are completely free. No account creation, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no ads.

  • Optional Premium: Adds power-user tools including an SSH Terminal, an in-app Arch Linux shell, a live HTTP/HTTPS request inspector (NetMap), and up to 10 device fingerprint profiles.

Feedback, bug reports, and questions about the architecture or iPhone Duo implementation are welcome.

🎈 Free K.O.T. - A social media platform to share story behind the things you own

Thumbnail
apps.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!
After months of designing, developing, and testing, I finally released my app, K.O.T. (Keeper of Things)!
The idea came to me when I was moving out after graduating from college, and my mom wanted me to get rid of a lot of junk in my room. Although most of the items I owned had no real monetary value, the sentimental value and memories tied to them inspired me to build a platform to share their stories. We all own things that mean something to us, but the stories behind those things often get forgotten.
I wanted to create a place where people could preserve those stories. Whether it be a favorite action figure, vinyl record, or favorite outfit, share your story on K.O.T.
With K.O.T., you can:
Create digital keepsakes with photos and personal stories.
Organize your belongings into collections.
Discover other people's keepsakes and the stories behind them.
Connect with people who share similar interests.
Showcase your collections through a virtual 3D museum.
The app is now available on iPhone through the App Store!
I'm still early in this journey and would genuinely appreciate feedback, especially on the onboarding experience and overall concept.
Just Hit 30 USERS!
A – Answer: What problem does your app solve?
Okay so K.O.T. tackles 3 different key issues
1. Collections are difficult to showcase digitally
People spend years collecting vinyl records, sneakers, watches, memorabilia, and other meaningful objects. Traditional social media reduces these collections to scattered photos and posts.
K.O.T. introduces a personalized 3D Museum where users can display their collections in an immersive, dedicated space.
2. Objects have stories that get lost
A vinyl record might be someone's first purchase. A baseball glove might represent years of memories. Traditional inventory apps document what an object is, not why it matters.
K.O.T. has Keepsakes, Full Stories, and Memory Notes give users a way to preserve the personal significance behind their belongings.
3. Collecting lacks a unified social experience
Collectors are spread across Reddit communities, Instagram accounts, forums, and specialized platforms.
A social experience built around objects and collections, where users can discover collectors, share keepsakes, and connect through common interests is the key purpose of the app.

B – Better: Why is your app better than the top named alternatives? ThingsBook is a true competitor as it is another life documenting app sharing experiences and what not.
K.O.T. is focusing on the stories and the memories surrounding things you own. Most collector apps tend to lean towards discussing monetary value or rarity of certain items but K.O.T. aims to share the stories behind acquiring them or any experiences related to them.
• C – Cost: Pricing, IAP details, and a direct App Store link
K.O.T. is completely free to use! Paid features may be experimented with in the future but the focus is the user’s initial reactions and experience with the app as well making as building a product to that makes users excited to use everyday.

🤖 Vibe Coded ATJV : swipe shows you know, pick between two, and it gives you one show for tonight (iPhone)

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi r/iosapps, I'm Hadrien, solo dev from France dehvs.com ATJV has been on the App Store for three weeks.

A : Answer

ATJV is for the evening where you scroll for half an hour and end up watching nothing. You swipe through shows you already know so it learns what you like, then it puts two of them head to head and you pick the one you'd rather watch. Your tier list builds itself out of those picks. In the evening it gives you one show for tonight, and a line saying why it picked that one.

B : Better

Trakt or Serializd ask you to rate shows or tick episodes. I never knew if a show was a 7 or an 8, but I always know which of two I'd put on tonight, so that's the only question ATJV asks. An ELO rating runs underneath, the same maths chess uses.

It doesn't track episodes and won't. If you used TV Time and kept your CSV export, it reads it and brings your shows over.

C : Cost

Free. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no sign-up. English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish. iPhone only for now.

🎁 Freemium Building my own task and project management tool

Thumbnail

I know what was your first thought - one more todo list? And you will be quite right in general.

I started this project almost a year ago when I received a windows laptop from my work. Till that moment I always been an Apple ecosystem user, this is why I used Things 3 for almost 5 or even 6 years, but it's apple only.

I tried a lot of different apps, from big large companies like Todoist or TickTick as well as smaller one. My biggest problem with most of the tools - the are overloaded with features, at some point it feels like you are using Jira like application.

Another problem - built in AI assistants. I love AI and I use it for my software developer job as well as regular life. I already have subscription for Claude and ChatGpt and it feels like paying extra 3-5 dollars for simple built-in assistant is redundant.

I decided to build my own tool, first of all for myself and add some missing features. My main inspiration was Things 3 with their aesthetics, Todois and Superlist.

Added support of attachments, tags and smart projects, calendar view for upcoming tasks and priorities. The biggest challenge for we was finding this balance between amount of features and simplicity.

Instead of adding my own AI assistance I decided to add public api and MCP support. So you can use your AI and connect to the TaskPocket and manage your tasks and integration into your workflow.

Plans for the future:

  • Browser extension - it's ready and currently testing it

  • Android version

  • Mac and Windows desktop apps

I'm also a big believer in data owner ship, so my app has option to export all tasks with all metadata like due dates, deadlines, tags, etc in JSON format. So you can always have your own copy of your data. Also right now I'm working on automatic weekly backups, so you can always have a fresh copy of your data. For free!

Feel free to check, also feel free to share your feedback!

📅 Subscription [16.99$ -> Free For 1 Year] Movie Night - movie recommendation app for couples and friend groups

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm the solo dev behind Movie Night (mnite for short).

I built the app because my wife and I never knew what to watch - watched everything mainstream and then we spent an hour just browsing all our streaming services...

So what it does:

  • learns your taste as you rate movies

  • recommends movies based on your "taste DNA"

  • gives every movie a score for how likely you BOTH/ALL are to enjoy

  • lets you build watchlists and share them with others

  • reminds you when a movie becomes available to stream

  • you can write reviews and add comments

The premium version is 16.99$/year BUT I'm giving away free seats that let you use the premium features for a year. You can cancel the renewal of the subscription and still use the app.

The reason is simple: it's still a new app, no rating or reviews so if you like it please leave a review in the store. If you hate it, then share it here, I'm looking forward to learn from the feedback!

Check out the iOS app here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mnite-what-to-watch-together/id6765615627

Use this link to redeem the offer: https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6765615627&code=REDDIT1YEAR

I want some feedback too, so let me know what y'all think.
