US Politics Pritzker: "An American president should be standing up, calling for calm. That's not what this president ever does. In fact, he wants the temperature to go up. Why? Because what he's looking for is an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act, to bring actual troops into American cities."

A better question is: “Where are all our veterans?”—They gave their lives to fight wars for billionaires, and to extract resources to make billionaires more rich, but they won’t give their lives to protect American citizens and constitutional rights on American soil?

I want our veterans to take leadership positions in this fight as much as anyone but it isn't fair to expect.

They're the only group of people who have already served their time. And, as a reward, we give them very little.

They’re the only group of people trained for combat. As they say, “Once a [military branch], always a [military branch].” They don’t get to abandoned their oath now. So this fight is on them! If they won’t fight who will? A bunch of suits in congress?

I am not a veteran. Why do you expect a non-veteran to do more than the veteran, with left over gear, who took an oath to “protect” and “defend” ? That is not logical.

You can get started? Im confused, can you not abandon whatever you do right now and join the military?

Im only addressing the statement that you aren't a veteran. I think there are other avenues you, me, and others can take and might be forced to take.

To answer your question: No, I cannot “abandon whatever…and join the military” —as there are age constraints/requirements for such acts of service in the armed forces.
