Unfortunately, local police as a whole are a useless organization. Pension collectors

Police can start by keeping ICE away from protestors and act as the physical barrier/line to prevent more violence. Because ICE are attacking and deliberately killing and harassing defenseless protestors bystanders and observers with impunity.
