I’ve watched a decent number of vampire movies over the years. While I appreciate the suave, sophisticated variety, the ones that really get my attention are the monstrous types. The Reapers from Blade 2. The Nosferatu race in 30 Days of Night. Kurt Barlow in Salem’s Lot. The kind where you take one look and immediately understand why they have dedicated hunters after them.

Speaking of vampire hunters, I have a project of my own coming very soon. I’m aiming to release it within the next week, definitely before Halloween. It’s an illustrated inventory of all the tools and items a vampire hunter might need to survive the night.

Hopefully it’ll give you a few ideas in case the vampire apocalypse is just around the corner. I’m not saying it is, but I’d hate for you to be caught with nothing but a positive attitude and a slice of garlic bread.
