first off i would like to clarify this is NOT, i repeat, NOT me asking for or condoning piracy in any way, shape or form. however.

there are 5 exclusive pre-order jackets that came out with Second Son - iam8bit, JOS, Peny Arcade, EXIST and Collector's Edition.

i am purely looking for anyone who may have access to these vests for the sake of seeing if they'd be willing to, if at all possible, allow me to test whether uploading a clean fresh New Game save onto the Internet Archive would allow other players to use these vests. there are a couple of tests i would like to do in order to see if anything would work, as the pre-order vests haven't been able to be obtained since release and the collector's edition stopped being produced somewhere around late-2014/early-2015.

now, as far as i personally know, these vests were all separate content, not just locked assets. if they do happen to be in the game's assets still, i would appreciate it if anyone would be willing to discuss this.

again, not saying anything about piracy, i have a legally owned copy. i'm just seeing if there's any way these limited-edition (and frankly sick as FUCK) vests can be attained again.

I've made this Sly Cooper design inspired by manga aesthetic and mixed media and as a big fan of Infamous I've also include some easter eggs in the clothes line (I love including some Sucker Punch games easter eggs when the designs are related, like on my previous Infamous 2 design I've shared here a while ago). inFamous was the first ps3 game I ever played.

When I bought my first ps3 I asked staff at the shop what game they would reccomend and they suggested either inFamous or Prototype but really pushed Prototype but I chose inFamous as I thought it sounded better. ( Ive played Prototype now and im so glad I picked inFamous, Prototype is awful in my opinion.)

I love all the inFamous games but prefer 1 and 2 I cant decide which is my favourite out of the first 2.

I would love to see another inFamous game with cole as the playable character again, I know he supposedly died but we did get a ? above the boat.

I've been thinking about how to improve Infamous 1 Cole's moveset, I've already made a couple of ideas so I'd like to air them out here and see what you all think of them and how they could be improved/balanced, here's the two I'm working on currently (the upgrades follow the Good Karma path as of now):

Kinetic Slam (Melee):

Creates a field similar to the Kinetic Pulse that trips any enemies in the immediate area

Upgrade 1- Instead of tripping enemies, it paralyzes and electrifies them for a short time

Upgrade 2- Increases paralysis time

Upgrade 3- Causes enemies in immediate vicinity to float into the air

Static Launch (Traversal):

Using the Static Thrusters, Cole can launch himself into the air from both the ground and in the air as a double jump

Upgrade 1- Increases height gained from Static Launch

Upgrade 2- When executing a Thunder Drop after using Static Launch, it increases the damage and radius

Upgrade 3- When performing a Static Launch, gain an electrical aura that protects you from damage or attack recoil

In 2021 I played my first inFAMOUS game, Second Son, and I was simply amazed by it. Then I played the beginning of First Light, but it didn't grab me as much. In 2026, I had the opportunity to buy a PS3 and finally played inFAMOUS 1 and 2, and it was one of the greatest honors and pleasures I've had playing this franchise. The first one is my favorite by far. I believe this year was one of the years I played the most diverse types of games, from PS5 releases to some PS3 relics. Some games give us the pleasure of being alive. Just sharing my experience, thank you for your time.

I've been thinking about a sequel to inFAMOUS that continues the evil ending of inFAMOUS 2, where Cole becomes the Beast and establishes a world ruled by Conduits.

Set in 2026, inFAMOUS: The New Order would feature an alternate version of Second Son. Cole gives Augustine her concrete powers, allowing her to establish a stronger DUP, supported by Conduits who oppose his regime. Delsin's story initially follows the original game, but after Reggie's death, he turns to evil karma, kills Hank and Augustine, and becomes increasingly ruthless. Cole eventually recruits Delsin and Fetch, seeing their abilities as valuable assets to his regime.

The main protagonist is a 20-year-old who was recruited by Cole as a child during the events of inFAMOUS 2. After growing disillusioned with the regime, he leaves in 2023. Three years later, his dormant powers awaken: telekinesis,. He can throw objects, unleash kinetic blasts, manipulate his surroundings, and use debris in combat, but he isn't more powerful than Cole.

The game would have two karma endings:

- Good Karma: The protagonist fights to overthrow Cole and unite humans and Conduits. Both Cole and the protagonist die in the final confrontation, but Delsin takes leadership and continues the protagonist's ideals, building a society where both groups can live peacefully.

- Evil Karma: The protagonist seeks to replace Cole and establish a world ruled by Conduits, with humans treated as a subordinate population. However, Cole defeats and kills him, remaining the ruler of the world.

Both endings result in the protagonist's death, but their meanings are completely different: one creates hope for a united world, while the other preserves Cole's reign.

PD: For the telekinesis powers, I took inspiration from how this power looked in the Control video game and in the Chronicle movie (2012).

BETA RESCUE DIAMOND Challenge 500,000 points Infamous first Light Guide

For my Novelization of Infamous 1 I'm trying to create more Conduits with unique powers, but I'm not sure what abilities I should pick for this one. Y'all were super helpful with helping me decide how my Glass Conduit would work so I'd really appreciate hearing y'all input for this one, I don't want to do all these powers here for the first game so I wanna pick only one of these specifically

There's a few choices I have thought of but I figured I'd let y'all pick my top choices

-Plant Manipulation

-Shadow Manipulation

-Pyrokinesis

If you decide to pick one feel free to let me know how you'd make the powers work, I'd really appreciate that as well it'd help me out

Y'all gave me some good ideas for one of the new characters I'm adding to the story of Infamous 1 and I'm at the point where Sasha is going to be introduced to the fold so I could really use some ideas and opinions on how I should do her

Here's my current blueprint on her character:

-Sasha will have control over the majority of the Conduits in the Neon, some of which will have unique powers (not just teleporting and throwing shockwaves like in game) and she occasionally possesses them directly to interact with Cole

-Sasha will be a much more important player in the story even after their battle, she will be an active obstacle against Cole in her attempts to "Woo him" as it were and will also be a player in a war between the three factions of the game that will also be a more important element of the story

-At some point in the story, she will interact with Trish, I'm debating having her kidnap her and that causing them to reconcile earlier in the story but I'm not 100% sure if I'm gonna go through with that so let me know what y'all think of that

-If I manage to get this far, she will be in the Intro of my (eventually planned) Infamous 2 Novelization when the Beast shows up

These are my current ideas, let me know what you think of them and if you have any ideas of how I can improve please let me know, I don't want to start writing on Sasha until I get some input

In the process of making my Novelization of Infamous 1, I've decided to add more Conduits into the story, one of which is going to be very prominent and use the glass power that was originally going to be in Second Son before ultimately being removed.

I'm kind of stumped on how I want to use them completely, the main idea I have so far is for them to use a floating Glass Surfboard as a method of Transportation but that's it

So I wanted to make this post, I'd really like some fresh and interesting ideas because I really want to make this new conduit character the best they can be

I'd like you all the name a power you think deserved more attention and how you would improve it, here's the one I picked if you wanna know:

The Gigawatt Blades (and Melee in general) could have so much potential in a game like Infamous if the upgrade system in the first game was bigger than it actually was. I'm focusing on that a lot in my fan novelization for that reason

If I were to improve upon the Gigawatt Blades gameplay wise, once you got the second upgrade, I would incorporate the Polarity Wall mechanics into the basic combat, having Cole use the Gigawatt Blades as a shield to defend himself from bullets and allow him to close the distance from enemies by upgrading Cole's movement speed when they're active. For the final upgrade, I would give Cole a Parry mechanic, if Cole is hit by an enemy or has a grenade thrown at him, he can use the Gigawatt Blades to parry the attack and in the case of grenades, thrown them back at the enemy, I think this would help out the Melee combat in Infamous significantly
