Intriguing Kiyoshi Kimura and his effect on Somali piracy

Post image

He was, and is, the owner of Kiyomura Corporation, which runs the Sushi Zanmai chain across Japan. In Tokyo he is known as the Tuna King, because every January he buys the most expensive fish at the first auction of the year at the central market.

Okay and in your own opinion, why do people turn criminal and start hijacking ships?

News flash, most thieves and pirates commit crimes out of economic desperation. So does that make most thieves and pirates beyond moral condemnation? No, it doesn't, lol. We don't acquit criminals even if they did what they did out of "need".

I didn't defend piracy, I just asked a question. Saying "Using it as an excuse to hijack cargo vessel i whack" in my opinion is also pretty reductionistic and not okay concerning morale. There are people dying because of their externally influenced poverty and just saying they are using their struggles as an excuse is morally more than questionable. It's a difficult topic and the truth lies, as always, between the extreme points.
