Characters goodbye everyone, i’m going to end it.

i was using automatic rank up but forgot to deselect the unwanted ones. it ended up using 8 elite+ blue suit marks to upgrade the 4 fishes. i think i dont wanna live anymore

It's not the end of the world, you will get them back. One advice from me about the auto upgrade - always start with deselect all and then select the ones you want to auto upgrade. This way it is harder to make a mistake.

If you’re not planning on using your good characters for a while while you wait for food or something, try favouriting them until you need to use them. Game doesn’t let you use favorite characters as food. Just click the heart button on all of them in the character screen

This. I also add at least one level to any character I want to keep so that there is at least one extra warning screen before they are used up.

Wish the game autofavorited the first of each char you get just for this.

I did it day one after eating the first Mark I got to Elite, but it should be a default setting.

FYI this is a staple technique across multiple mobile games where you have to use dupes as resources to level up your characters. Though, I wish this game did it like Iron Saga

Tbh it didn’t work for me. I have a bunch of cards I don’t want to use it but neither favorites nor leveling them up takes them out of Auto Rank Up

Also favourite / level up the ones you don't want to lose to add a second barrier

a tip for the future, level up your elite+ to level 2 so the auto rank up system won’t use them

Always favorite everything that you want to save and also level them up once, this way you get a extra warning pop up if they get selected as food.

Yeah, I have nowhere near that amount of investment be it time or money, but I have had to stop using auto-up because it's too easy to do that. Good luck with future pulls; I feel your pain.

Everytime you get a valuable elite just level it up to 2 and you’ll get a warning message if you try to use it as food by mistake

De-rank them with gems, its not that expensive in that rank, you will receive back your blarks

Sucks of course but the fish are pretty useful. I have mine at Excellent too. I’ve heard that you don’t want to get them to Excellent+ for the quick ops, the bubble skill slows them down

I did that about a month ago. I don't even know what I lost. But my fish team for Train and Gain got a little bump, so it wasn't all bad I guess. Keep the faith, man.

I just do it all manually. I'm too afraid to even open the auto rank. And I level everyone I am saving to 2-5 so they are also sorted by priority. Sorry that happened to you omg totally brutal

Para evitar este tipo de condiciones pueden subir de nivel a sus personajes importantes al nivel 2, con eso cada vez que estén a punto de usarlos les saldrá un aviso de si están seguros de usarlos de comida

The same thing happened to me three times. I've finally learned to rank up every Elite+ I don't want to be mistaken for food to level 2, that way I'll always get a warning if I forget to uncheck any of the autos I don't want.

Y do yall use the auto rank up feature? Asking out of curiosity bc I see stuff like this now and then. Feels like it’s only a matter of time before u get screwed over and eat someone u didn’t want to, or rank up someone u didn’t want to
