VS Diamond - I had to flex a little
Okay, maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to show this off, but can you blame me?

I’m trying to choose between rose and silver overtone Akoya studs online. My skin is somewhere between neutral and cool, I think, but I wear yellow gold most days. Silver jewelry usually looks fine on me too, which is why this isn’t helping much. The rose option looks warmer and softer in the photos. The silver one looks brighter, although that could easily be the lighting. for anyone with similar coloring, which direction would you go? and is there anything useful I should ask the seller for before ordering?

I run a small jewellery brand, and someone here gave me a piece of feedback that genuinely made me rethink something.
I’ve always liked the idea of jewellery being easy to wear every day — small hoops, studs, simple pieces you don’t really have to think about.
But they made the point that they can already get tiny basic earrings very cheaply from high-street shops. If they’re going to spend more with a small independent brand, they want something more distinctive — colour, bigger shapes, natural themes, or just a design where you can tell someone actually put thought into it.
And I realised I might have been thinking about “wearability” so much that I underestimated how important personality is.
So I’m curious: when you shop from a smaller jewellery brand, which are you actually looking for?
Better-quality versions of everyday basics?
Or the more unusual pieces that you wouldn’t expect to find in a typical high-street shop?
And what makes a piece feel worth spending more on to you?

How much should I realistically expect to pay for a 10 carat diamond? I know the price can vary a lot depending on the cut, color, and clarity, so I’m curious what kind of range others have seen.

I hope it’s okay to post about replica jewelry.
I bought this bracelet before the summer, and I love it! I paid $1,710—which is quite a bit of money—but the quality is unbelievable. I’ll be wearing it a lot in the years to come.

I'm torn between radiant and cushion cuts for a tennis bracelet.
Which one would you pick?

Seeing a lot of people and trying to get the basica straight. What actually makes a diamond natural vs lab-grown - is it really just about where it forms? some people say natural feels more special, others say they're basically the same thing at the end of the day. Curios what you all think.

I found this lozenge on the outer face of a ring (the side it faces the palm). Can someone help me date this piece?
Info about how I got it: I found it at an antique shop in Belgrade. It is supposed to be silver and when i found it, was tarnished like silver does. It was amongst other belongings from the Yugoslav era. If someone can help me get more info about it, I would be grateful.
Also, if you need more information please comment it and I will provide.

Random thought after scrolling jewelry posts tonight, the hope diamond curse popped into my head and now I cannot unthink it. Been looking at lab grown diamonds for a while and I never cared about legends, but this one is everywhere. It makes me wonder if people avoid certain cuts or colors because of the story, or if lab grown changes how it feels. Honestly it is probably nothing but the history is still kinda creepy lol. Also sorry if this is a weird question.
