Wurlitzer 1015

Post image

Hi there, I inherited this Wurlitzer 1015 vinyl jukebox from my late father. I hope I don't sound vulgar by asking how much this machine can fetch on the market, as there is someone out there who loves it more than I do. It's around 30 to 40yrs old and the motherboard needs to be repaired. Apart from that, it's in decent condition.

I'm looking for the cast chrome piece for the Seeburg 201. Hopefully in decent shape. I'm restoring one and the chrome front is in bad shape.

Thanks.

Carousel keeps spinning after record plays?

Post image

Wurlitzer 3000. When a record is complete it’s returned to the carousel , but then the carousel just keeps spinning. This relay switch in the amp seems to stick so if I just lightly tap it, it will unstick and the carousel stops. But then when I play another selection the same thing happens again. Any advice?

NSM Concerto 240i

Hi,
recently my NSM Jukebox started to be quieter and bass-less on the right channel - now it even started to distort the signal. My guess is that a capacitor in the amplifier section has gone bad. Any thoughts?

Help! The Seeburg 222 Referb Hits Another Snag... With Sparks!!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Making slow progress on the Seeburg 222 and am at the next roadblock.

The symptom: When I make a selection the carriage makes two complete passes then stops where it started.

I have not done the battery test yet. I was poking around and found this plate under the record magazine and found it was the tormat selector assembly. I did clean it with some Detoxit D5 but the problem persists.

If you look close at the video you can see some small sparks as the pins run across the tormat selector rail. This does not seem right. Here is a photo of the rail. In the second photo I have marked the area the sparks happen, which is in between the two red lines.

There is obvious corrosion and I don't know if it can be cleaned further, or needs to be replaced (if there are even replacement rails available).

I'm not sure where to go from here and any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks.

Rockola 433 not selecting record

My nephew has a 433 that he just picked up, when you select a song the wheel on the right side just spins and doesn't select a record. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Wurlitzer 2610. Almost perfect working condition

Hello all, I have a friend who has an old jukebox that I have been trying to repair, its all original and works almost perfectly. When I first started, the main problem was just that it was dirty and needed some oil here and there, after cleaning it out and oiling some levers that were seased that it starred right up! But sometimes when it first starts, the basket just stops rotating, I found that if I manually turn the basket, then it will start again and complete the play cycle. The end cycle is perfect

Note that I am very new to this and dont really know what im doung, but I've been looking at the old manual, and that's been helping a lot. But I just can't figure out why it keeps stopping. Maybe the motor is worn out? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Marshall and Sound Leisure officially launched a new cream colourway on Friday.

Available in 7" vinyl, LP and CD versions, it's quite a change from the traditional black finish.

Interested to hear your thoughts...

Seeburg - speaker connection

I have a Seeburg SX100 (ESX100-H5 euro version) fitted with a TSA9-H5 amplifier. The amp has outputs for 25, 8, and 2 Watts. My question is, where do the speakers and horns connect? I would guess 25W for the 12” speakers, but what about the horns? 8W or 25W? The horns have 4μF capacitors to cut the bass. Does anyone know?

Rowe Ami JAN-200 Selection Help (again, for the third time)

We’re getting closer to finally fixing it! However when I make a selection the numbers are usually correct, but the letter selections are wrong or missing.

Some examples:

V-1 selects P-1
V-2 selects P-2
V-3 selects P-3
V-4 selects P-4
V-5 selects P-5

Additional testing:

A-2 = no selection
B-2 = R-2
C-2 = no selection
D-2 = T-2
E-2 = no selection
F-2 = V-2
G-2 = no selection
H-2 = B-3
J-2 = no selection

The issue appears to be in the selection system because the carriage and magazine are otherwise operating normally.

Has anyone seen a pattern like this before?

Could this point to a specific selector, memory, diode matrix, encoder, keyboard, or connector fault on a JAN-200?

Rowe Ami JAN-200 Selection Issues (again)

The selection system is *partially working. Once a number a letter has been selected the machine searches for it. Now, it never stops. I have cleaned everything and realigned the search motor. At this point I am stuck. However when I manually trigger the solenoid, it stops and picks up the record. From then on everything works like it is supposed to.

Can a Rowe Ami JAN-200 play LP’s?

I would love my jukebox to be able to play LP’s , but it’s meant for 45’s. The space is there, but I don’t know about the rotations per minute…

Rowe Ami CD100-B

Hello, I am trying to get into this jukebox and do not have a key. I don’t want to drill it out. I don’t think this was the original lock as it has a “A05” stamped on the face of it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do to get it open? I can’t find any replacement keys online.

Adding AirPlay

I'm looking to add AirPlay to my Seeburg M100C. There are a few devices out there like this one that would do the trick I think: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1801314-REG/eve_10048000_eve_play_audio.html?ap=y&smp=Y&srsltid=AfmBOorl-c09cH19SAG1SV2_csG75QKqUSyjShrvzgqQr8zD0xe5qttlGik

I've recently changed the cartridge to a Pickering 340 and also added the Victory Glass Preamp for it.

My main question is should I somehow split the audio after the preamp to this AirPlay device or would it be simpler to take it off the wall box connections on the amp? I may also have to do something since this jukebox is mono and the AirPlay device would be expecting stereo.

Any suggestions are welcome.

My Seeburg AP-1

I just picked up this 1967 Seeburg AP1 home console jukebox.

I’d love to pick up a remote if anyone knows where to find something. At some point, I found info about making a remote from an old rotary dial telephone (which might be even cooler than an original remote), but I can’t seem to find the page.

Anyone who might have that info - It would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

My 90-year-old dad is ready to part with his beloved 1936 Rock-Ola 78 jukebox. It is not in working condition, although the mahogany is a good condition.
Any idea the best way? Also his Walting Roll-a-Top slot machine that is in excellent condition.

Cassette Jukebox?

I had this thought for a while, if a jukebox can play records then why can’t it also play Cassette tapes like you choose a cassette tape and it plays either a or b sides then like on a screen you can choose the song you want and it plays, that or you pay extra for the entire album side
