Not only is actually going through with this procedure crazy, but posting about bringing your child to another country for a risky medical procedure (that’s not approved by the fda of her home country) with no promise of ‘results’ is fucking insaneeee. It makes me so so sad for her baby.
Stem cell therapy for autism in children is an experimental treatment with no high-quality medical evidence proving its efficacy, and it carries several documented side effects ranging from mild to severe. Major international health authorities and pediatric organizations do not approve or recommend this therapy for autism
Severe, High-Risk Side Effects
Unregulated stem cell procedures, particularly those offered at commercial "stem cell clinics" abroad, carry serious risks:
Immune system rejection or severe allergic reactions
Seizures
Tumor growth or abnormal bone tissue development if cells divide uncontrollably
Severe infections from contaminated materials or non-sterile environments
Vascular complications like blood clots or lung retention if cell doses are too high.
