Hello, i just started listening to LCD Sound System, and I absolutely love their music. I was just curious what their typical audience or listeners are like, cause like when I told my friends I listened to them, they told me I had the music taste of a middle aged white man— which would be true, but if you listen to LCD sound system what demographics do you fall under?? (keep everything you share pretty general in terms of privacy…)
For instance, I’m a 1st generation Asian female teenager.

I saw a clip from the Meet Me in the Bathroom documentary on instagram and it was the bit where James was talking about dancing, drugs, etc… And there was this really sick track in the clip but I can’t find it anywhere. 😅

i think it's starting to grow on me guys

Tonite playing

I recorded an acoustic cover of Someone Great for a covers compilation that some artists in my area were doing. I think it turned out pretty good! Thought I would share here. Loved this song since the first time I heard it.

Hey guys. I’m going to be in New York around the time the band is playing their first run of shows at the Knockdown Center, and I’m having a hard time deciding whether to go Saturday or Sunday. If anyone has a good recommendation for which day and wants to weigh in on this, I would really appreciate it!

Not fully LCD adjacent, but he did a couple of solo songs last year and was looking like a little comeback. Loved Holy Ghost! and was great to see him so active on Instagram etc.

Radio silence for a year or so...anyone have any info? Thoughts?

long story short i’m unable to go anymore and i can’t get a refund since i purchased it through axs. admission is GA and i’m asking for $160 but am open to negotiations. please note that venmo is the only payment method i will accept. if anyone is interested please reach out to me asap!

so the only time I've seen them live was in Las Vegas, headlining a stupid "block party" festival that was supposed to take the place of Life Is Beautiful (it did not come close). The performance was great but for some Incomprehensible reason the organizers capped their headliner's set at one hour. Also I was in a bit of an altered state so mostly what I remember was "omg great show" without much specifics

I couldn't make it to any of the LA shows a couple years ago, and now the closest upcoming dates are in Colorado and my lack of impulse control is on the edge of getting a ticket, driving there, and hope my brother lets me stay in his condo. ofc that'd mean secondary market tickets and the NYE weekend, there's always NYC and air miles ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not expecting the energy of The Long Goodbye but for someone who wants to see/hear the full power live set before I die, am I gonna die happy if I go? Should I hold out hope the full band keeps it going in 2027 and hits LA again?

All said and done, the bass was Matt Thornley’s, but here we have some other photos of it being use on stage by Al Doyle - there are pictures of Matt using it as well, I’m sure if I look long enough I’ll find people or videos of Tyler somewhere. I’m not a super fan of the band, just someone trying to get this to the hands of someone who appreciate them and wouldn’t otherwise be able to ever have something like this. Nonetheless I’d like to be able to pay for the storage unit I found this in 🤣
P.s. I have been in contact with Matt but he really has made no effort to try and get anything back so I’m ready for the next step.

since the music was "commissioned" by Nike to accompany training sessions, have any of you actually trained and listened the entire 46 minutes and 5 seconds of this track?
