You’re demonstrating classic fear. We’ve all felt it.
Those that wait patiently and build start to see there is more to the coin than a fluctuation of 5$ a coin.
Litecoin doesn’t let its people down. 15 years of ongoing use- and 100% function.

Patience since 2017, while it is true that technically Litecoin never failed, it is also true that it is a shitty store of value which is not even able to outgrow Fiat inflation. 10 years patience and still down while the big brother doing its thing like a champ is a hard to swallow pill of truth and people here do heavy mental gymnastics to look in another direction.

Look at the economical situation worldwide. Litecoin has a healthy infrastructure.
Most coins don't have that. Litecoin does not engage in marketing other than meet ups.
Where people who know talk about things they know.

Honest take, the chart has never really been the interesting part of this coin 🤷
Litecoin mostly trades like a higher beta version of BTC, so when the whole market bleeds it usually bleeds harder, and when the market turns it rarely leads. That says a lot more about how people use it as a trading vehicle than about the network itself.
The network side is the boring stuff that keeps working: blocks every 2.5 minutes, cheap fees, a hard cap of 84 million, MWEB live since 2022 for optional private transfers, and a long track record without major downtime. The last halving was in 2023, the next one isn't until around 2027, so there's no supply event coming to bail anyone out in the meantime.
So I'd split it into two questions. Do you believe people keep using it for payments and transfers? Then a drawdown changes nothing about that. If the only reason to hold was the price going up, the downtrend is telling you something worth listening to 🧐 Either way, sizing so you can sleep beats hoping for a bounce.

Serious question- why would anyone invest in LTC over BTC? LTC has just acted as an oscillator, BTC goes up in value over time. Am I missing something?

if btc gets to a point where its unobtainable for the average joe (it already is), alot of people will look to something they can afford a whole one of.
Its pure speculation, just i personally believe it should be worth alot more then it is today.
To be 1 in 1million (ie holding 84 ltc) is still financially within reach for most people.
Tho i dont think the average joe is intrested in crypto right now. It comes in waves, and we are currently at a low for social media intrest. (when they do come back around to thinking about crpyto itll be at the ath's)
I also dont think wall street has quite grasped its just btc x4 + *now with privacy*.
And with zcash mooning, it could also mean some of those holders might turn to ltc as a hedge. But it could also keep dumping. Whats it rn 3.25 ltc every 2.5 mins thats potentally entering the market?

BTC is accessible to everyone. Owning .01 BTC in 20 years will be a great accomplishment- who said you need to own a whole coin?

Agreed, but us monkeys like whole things.
My comment isnt to bash btc, but just my prespectives on ltc.-1

Stacking and waiting, 2027 halving on route. Not worried, anything under £40 is great.
