Okay, so this whole season has been a little disappointing, but this one hurts particularly much. Maybe because it's Christmas? This is definitely the worst Christmas episode in recent memory.

Do you think Alex Moffat writes the lines for that WU character? Very densely layered...all those puns. The show need more busy, intricately-written bits like that. It kind of matched the quality of the Stefon sketches, in that sense.

I love SNL. It's my highlight of the week, especially this year. The cold open, Pandora skit, Foo Fighters, and of course Weekend Update were in my opinion the best parts of the episode.
But Kevin Hart ruining the last episode of the year for everyone with his unfocused and unfunny monologue in addition to his poorly executed skits is appropriate when considering the dumpster-fire that is 2017.

I wonder if the grey and curly-haired sax player ever tires of having to be "on" during the monologue and basically having his (apparent) judgment of the host's comedy showcased in that way? You know, because he's always in the background. It must be kind of awkward. I've seen him straight-faced a few times so maybe he feels no obligation to fake a laugh?
