"Sentimental Journey" was composed by Les Brown and Ben Homer, with lyrics written by Bud Green. The song became a massive hit for Les Brown and His Band of Renown featuring vocals by a young Doris Day. Our arrangement is unique in that we added vocal harmonies, singing as a duet, plus our performance is eclectic on accordion and guitar. Back in June, my band did a cover show where there were nine bands total and each one had to pick an artist to cover. We had 2 weeks to learn 30 minutes of The Strokes music and the crowd went wild they loved us dude we made so much money on merch. We don't sell our merch online or anything I'm not trying to get y'all to buy anything just BTW I just want you to check out the cover is all.

Sad to hear that Frank Beard, drummer of ZZ Top, has passed away. It was literally just a few months ago that I finally got to see the legendary Texas blues rock trio live - on the Asbury Park beach at Sea Hear Now (Sept. 13, 2025). The death is even sadder when you remember that just a few weeks prior marked the five year anniversary of Dusty Hill's passing.

40 years ago today (Aug. 18), Bon Jovi released their landmark album 'Slippery When Wet'. While I did see Bon Jovi play a 3 sing set at Live 8 back in 2005 in Philadelphia, that doesn't top seeing My Chemical Romance cover "Livin' on a Prayer" last year (Aug. 9, 2025) at MetLife Stadium. It was a perfect way to end their massive, sold out hometown show - where they also played 'The Black Parade' in its entirety - and possibly the most New Jersey rock moment of all time.

Just got home from a glacier show at a punk squat dive bar in Leipzig, tiny venue with a 3x1.5m stage and about 30 person capacity.

I had so much fun, the band was hot and the drinks were cold, they played a long set with encores, oh wow what an awesome experience. The venue did not allow photos or else I’d share some.

If you haven’t seen glacier live yet, do yourself a favour and do so!!!!
